I've considered starting to sell suits of chitin, but I'd have to charge an arm and a leg for them. Why? Because of the creature organics requirements. Sure, making one or two suits isn't too bad.. but 100? I'd have to pay 50CPU just to get hunters to hunt bone for me. :/

I haven't been able to find an armoursmith yet. I spoke to Dova and Fiweest but they only deal with Composite. If there are any Intrepid Armoursmiths reading this could you give me a hand thanks.

If it's not too much trouble could you list the resources needed to make the armour? How much is not a big deal just what I need. I had an armoursmith say he would do it but he doesn't have the resources for it.

Dantooine Animal Bones, Doonium Iron, Bone, Leathery Hide, Scaley Hide, Ferrous Metal, Polymer, Wooly Hide
Your AS ought to have ferrous metal, polymer and wooly hide already at least.

For those of you looking to get some decent kliknik shells, I hunted the back aree of the Geonosian Biolab for about two hours last night killing all the Enhanced Klikniks and the Force Klikniks. The drop rate isn't terribly high, but the spawn rate is pretty good back there. In the end I looted a set of eleven yellow named 19% shells, and a set of ten yellow named 16% shells. I'll probably try again tommorrow and see if I can get some better ones. If encumbrance actually starts to matter after the combat rebalance, than some super low-HAM pieces of Kliknik chitin might really be worth a lot. Plus I like the way the chitin chest piece looks when mixed with some composite pieces. The other nice thing, is that when mixed with a PSG, chintin has no vulnerabilities, unlike some of the other lesser armors.

There's an interesting thing I haven't experimented on. Because Chitin requires "similar" segments, I think you can use shells with different serial numbers and stats. I'm not sure how this effects the final outcome. For example....
20shells = 10%base -10/-10/-10
5 shells = 40%base -10/-7/-50
Which values stick? Can you put one of the second set into each piece and almost completely eliminate mind weight?
Can you add a crafted one to the mix and get higher kinetic?
I may try this tonight, if I haven't destroyed all of them.
I played a little with this last night.
You can't mix crafted segments and looted ones. It will let you mix from different loot sets though.
I didn't actually complete a combine with looted segments. It was late and I've destroyed most of my kliknik shells. I may put a few pieces together tonight and see how they turn out.

I have been able to find an MAS and once there is a a run of good Dantooine animal bones he's going to let me know. So once the armour is complete i'll post the stats.
Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone.
