hm...i think i'll just sit in my room and yell at my wall. i can get the same experience i would have if i were correspondent and it wouldn't cost me 15 bucks a month.
Sit and yell at your wall you would get more of a response than the Devs give us..........the echo.

Oa'kron will remain my Armorsmith correspondent. Someone else may take his position, but never his place!
I'll say it agian, Tiggs, please reconsider the firing of Oa'kron.

As a crafter on a couple servers but NOT an Armorsmith I must step in here because the failure of the Devs to "listen" to any of us is universal. I must also point out that the ONLY problem here is the communities failure to REALLY do anything about it. I read all these posts about the Devs failure to heed to the desires of us, the guys who pay their salaries, and act accordingly. How many of you guys who constantly post how the Devs never listen to us have actually cancelled your subscriptions? Almost 2 yrs into this and the problem from the beginning is the same problem as today. The devs refuse to listen to the community. If its been 2 yrs and no progress how many of you actually think its ever gonna get better?! If you want to make a statement then cancel your subscriptions. That is the only "post" they will listen to.I know this game is addictive and all but if things are that bad then quit. The devs will take notice of that if nothing else. I dont expect this post to be around long so take heed, and yes I have cancelled my subscription in case anyone asks.

I have to concur with the majority of my esteemed colleagues, Okram was a very good correspondent/voice for our AS community. Him leaving as AS correspondent is not an auspicious omen for what's in store from the CU launch...I don't know the details of what happened, but I am sure it was out of simple frustration from the LACK OF RESPONSE from the devs...on a myriad of issues...period...He always seemed to be a level headed guy in his posts and was more 'positive' than most on these forums. All SOE had to do is COMMUNICATE withthe AS community regarding its intentionsand 90% of our fears and anxieties re: the CU maybe could have been avoided.
Hec, I'd apply for the post, butI have never had a 'positive tone' re: the CU andits abyssmal changes in store for us...Iguessthat rules meout. SOE, please wake up and smell the coffee, folks...the natives are restless...damage control time

You guys are amazing. Half of you have blasted the Devs for getting rid of your correspondent and demanded a new one be put in place immediately. Then, when Tiggs starts the process of getting your new correspondent, you want her to wait?
Guys, none of the professions are getting the amount of communication they want, its not just armorsmiths. Funny, but all the other correspondents didn't have their constituency spam the devs with inquiries and demands.

Asked me a month ago I would have loved to become corrospondant and feel I did something for the profession I loved so much.
But this whole situation just shows how understaffed this game is on the public relations front.
Tiggs Im sure you guys are busy and probably too busy since communicting with the user base doesnt seem to enter your mind as an important thing.
You might want to cehck out some of the candidates or even bachalors coming out of the Institute for Information and Media studies at Aarhus University they might be able to help you a bit on the user involvement in the design processes.
Crap Im just gonna stop and goto bed because this place just reaks of incompetence.
Oh yeah and the blue glowie posting in this thread has some really good points, if it wasnt becasue blix actually started the ball rolling himself by posting on here. The minute he made his first post he actually opened the door and gave us a place to voice our concerns. If you notice Blix actually told us that he was the programmer working on our part of the game, so the people who PMed him didnt just pm anybody, and I guess pulled resources away from anybody. They sent it to the "right" guy not the guy working on Ranger or something else.

Thats the funniest thing I heard all day. Go to nearly any profession forum. They're all filled with similar complaints. The armorsmiths problems aren't as unique as you think.
