Sickens me some of you ripping on Okram. Ya, what he did was wrong. He knew that there would be repurcusions.
But he totally put his head on the chopping block for all us to get some things changed in the CU. I totally commend the guy for sacrificing himself to try and get heard.

As a crafter on a couple servers but NOT an Armorsmith I must step in here because the failure of the Devs to "listen" to any of us is universal. I must also point out that the ONLY problem here is the communities failure to REALLY do anything about it. I read all these posts about the Devs failure to heed to the desires of us, the guys who pay their salaries, and act accordingly. How many of you guys who constantly post how the Devs never listen to us have actually cancelled your subscriptions? Almost 2 yrs into this and the problem from the beginning is the same problem as today. The devs refuse to listen to the community. If its been 2 yrs and no progress how many of you actually think its ever gonna get better?! If you want to make a statement then cancel your subscriptions. That is the only "post" they will listen to.I know this game is addictive and all but if things are that bad then quit. The devs will take notice of that if nothing else. I dont expect this post to be around long so take heed, and yes I have cancelled my subscription in case anyone asks.

why bother with a correspondent at this point? the amount of time to would take to settle in the correspondent would pass the launch date by months....
appoint someone at SOE to take the reigns... direct communication.. until the CURB has passed...

Well, I /salute oaks in doing what was right. This has allowed many of us who might have previously supported the CU to see the light. Expect more "unwelcome" changes to come.

This situation is a perfect illustration of how people are being ignored. The CU is just an attepmt of SOE to make more money b/c of epIII.
