They don't drop 10 at once. Those are scale SEGMENTS.
The actual item you need is labeled "Giant Dune Kimogila Scales" and has no stats, unlike your segments.

Any truth to the random spawns with a lair dropping at a higher rate?

i supose thie would have been a good question to ask before i've gone out and looted 3 gurk hides, 5 peko feathers, a half dozen woolmander frags, and 2 kimo scales .... Can a twi'lek wear the RIS helmet?

have the DEVs said anything about lessing the rare loots drops needed to make this full suit of armor,? i mean getting 9 of each drop is freakign ridiculous. you you have to get 9 of something then alteast make them different things to make it feel more fun. The game has totally turned into either " Grind like crazy to get what you want" or "Camp here for an hour and a half to get what you want" theres no adventure to any of these cool special things liek RIS armor. I think there are more jedi on my server then anyone that has any pieces, let alone a full suit, of RIS armor. I mean i know its suppossed to be "RARE", but arent jedi too? I mean when this game is suppossed to take place, Weren't all the jedi eliminated. I'm not trying to complain, but i want a full suit of RIS and im just not having any fun at all collecting 9 of the same exact loot drop, it feels more like a job, and i already have one of those in real life, i dont need one in my gaming life.

Have a helm and Cyrkus just made us the leggings tonite ( which look very cool by the way )
My wife is on testcenter alot and was told by a Dev that they aren't considering changing the GDK scale drop rate....so take that for what it is worth.

so far i ahve 2 gurk king hides and 3 woolamander bone fragments, but no GDK scales, i can only find one static spawn and there is alwasy some kid camping there 24/7. anyone know where else to find the giant kimo?

whats the timer on the two gurk king spawns?

Gurk King spawn rate at static spawn is 3 hours (Roughly).
Woolamander Harrower statick spwan time is 65 mins (Almost exactly).

i dont know if i am the only one who has this problem....but i am have aborted the ris quests. The parts are impossible to get on my server...all the spawns are camped 24/7 by comando's and tka masters...and some spawns are protected by groups of factioned peeps ganking anyone else who even want to look. I guess the devs want armorsmiths to only buy the parts. at1 million each. i cant outdamage a comando..so this armorsmith cant get any enhancements at all...for any armor without buying it.(ok...i can get the lower level stuff...)I spent 3 days camping the harrowers...i have had over a doz spawns stollen by others...i was the only armorsmith making this attempt..never saw any. i have killed 12 so far..no drops...i have been chased away by overts with scanners once. Final total...3 wasted days for me with nothing to show for it...final total for them...at least one was looted..and offered to me for a million creds. Since i have only one account..and i gather all my own resourses the hardway(on my own) i will never be able to get these parts...i dont know what the devs had in mind..but it was probably to help out the powerplayers and grinders which the games caters too...i cant even loot crates because there is a macro looter parked at each one....i have a real job...so i cant be logged in 24 hours aday to try to be able to attempt to get a part...and i loath macro looters..so it seems that i am to be left behind..thanks soe with your great ideas and support..i just hope these kids u cater to wont get bored in a week so u guys can still afford to keep the game going.
