Has the drop rates for any increased? Anyone notice any difference since the patch?

Also, can this be made with good stats with the added layer from the patch?

thks for the post now can someone answer me this? I saw one website that boasts that a wookie can wear ris armor--is this true...?

im a wookie master armorsmith, ch master...is there hope for a wookie to wear armor?

Lok on Chilastra seems bugged to hell.

There are hardly any spawns there now let alone any free roaming GDKs... just the static spawn one... any other servers have this issue?

Just wanted to say this is a great help! I only discovered the existence of RIS this morning by accidentally running into the hermit and finding out from an armoursmith friend of mine about the quests. i can't wait to get my own set. Even if it's not as good as composite, it still looks cool and makes a statement.

how many pieces of RIS armor are there? someone said earlier in the post that u needed 9 GDK scales for the whole set. but that would mean there are 9 pieces of armor? doesnt sound right

Well, I've got the first schematic done, and since I don't have the Interwoven segment from the Geonosian Cave, off to Naboo I went to find the peko peko albatross.

Went out of Theed to the north, and traveled along the beach to Kaadara. Saw a few giant peko random spawns, and wiped them out in the hopes an albatross would spawn, but to no avail. Find some Maulers to dispatch, but no albatross. Perhaps I was too far north?

Tonight I go to Moenia, to comb the southern coast. Hopefully this search will provide me with a feather.

Standard RIS uses 2 feathers, Interwoven requires 3.

If you even want to use those as the layers... not required.

Thanks loads for all your work, this has really been a great help to me, who just made MAS, a couple weeks ago and am hot on the trail (with lots of help from my guildies) of making this RIS.

BTW just how hard is it to get a Giant Dune Kimogilla Scale?

Our guild on Sun Runner has a great ranger as one of the members, he tracked the Peko Abatross near Kaadara a week ago, and killed the first one he found by himself with conceal shot and a Jawa Ion Rifle.(it took a long time) he did have one partner standing by to heal him.

Then the rest of our guild got involved because this awsome ranger kept finding new albatrosses spawning shortly after the others were dead in the same general area. In total there were 4 albatrosses that spawned, and three feathers were dropped.

The Peko Albatross is listed on the SWG creatures site, according to that it is only 25-30%resists in acid, stunn, and blast. The rest of the resists were 80-90 with it being 100% resistant to kinetic.

So our ranger called in a doctor, a master marksman with an Jawa Ion rifle, (which gave our team 2 ion rifles) and a couple of commandos with rocket launcers. Our hunting party took many hits, for in the excitement wrong buttons got pushed and the 4 albatrosses agroed many times, the doc used up all his rez kits and rebuffed about 5-6 times, and got killed about that often himself (luckily the hunting field was fairly close to town on a speeder). But we got enough feathers to finish the quest. Im a very happy armorsmith. Now we just need to get some Giant Kimogilla Scales.

My brave guild buddies went out kimo hunting last saturday and killed around 3-4 Giant Dune Kimos, with one drop of 10 kimo scales. Are these the ones that are good for RIS?
