Aloow me to impart some knowledge to you guys, take it for what it is. Mandolorians were not all Bounty hunters. As a matter of fact, as stated in KOTOR, they were warriors, seeking the honor of battle from worthy opponents, conquering left and right, eventually being defeated and dispearsed by the Jedi, Revan and Malak. The bounty hunting issue came after the fall of mandalore, not the warrior mandalore, the people. Yes there was a warrior named Mandalore, basically the Alpha mandalorian. Ok so , bounty hunting and the like, is what they took to on a large scale after defeat. Just thought I'd clear that up.

And i wanna get me some mando armor hee hee

Well actually i think i do have some sort of piece to the mandalorian puzzle in my inventory, I looted aEncrypted data discfrom a rebel mob that i killed andwhen i hit use it said i successfully decrypted it, when i read the description the thingit said that it was a treasure map to a succesfull Bounty Hunters stash of equipment, it told me i had to store the waypoint to the treasure in my data pad, so i did, then i went to the place where the waypoint led to and when i selected the search for treasure option on the radial menu, it told me i had to store the waypoint, but since i already did this my only conclusion is that the item is, like many other things in this game bugged, needless to say i was disapointed and cant wait till the durn thing works so i can get my hands on the bounty hunters equipment, be it mandalorian armor of a CDEF pistol. anyone else have one of these? or know what they lead to if they arent bugged?

Someone might have already mentioned this, but mandalorian armor is in the game "somewhere". What I mean is, there IS art and models for it. How doI know? Easy. My bounty hunter trainer in Tyrena was wearing a mandalorian breastplate at one time. A trandoshan no less. Now I know why HE is training ME. As for how players get their hands on it, beats the crap outa me.

And just in case you were wondering. No it was NOT composite he was wearing. It was mandalorian, complete with a green paint job and that odd hexographic shape in the middle between the pectoral plates.

In the script there was no need for more then 2 bounty hunters. Why add more bounty hunters when not needed? The jedi's are needed for the large wars and stuff.

I've seen the mandalorian boots, and a bicept on an NPC. He had a composite helmet, and the rest was padded aside from the mandalorian items I already stated. You can wanter around and see these things fairly easy. This particualr guy is still around (Eclipse server, Talus, nashal, lower part of cloning facility).

I don't like the argument that since you've only seen it a few times in the movies, it's rare... How many sets of Ubese did you see? mabari? Doesn't that make those even rarer than mandalorian? I'm not saying it is, just saying that it's a fairly flimsy excuse. If it was that rare, NO npcs would have it except for Boba.

How is it that everyone is saying that if they added mandalorian armor to the game everyone would be running around with one, when in truth there are some fairly basicthings that after a month of hard playing people are still unable to make, or are extremely rare (particle beam cannon, DX2 pistol, Acid Rifles, etc.). I for one am a Master Marksman/Master Scout who's been playing since day 1 (well, day 2 since day 1 it was impossible to play) and I have yet to see even ONE DX2 pistol or T21 rifle.

If there's only 12 sets, guaranteed those12 sets will be held onto foreverby the people who happened to be in the right place at the right time. Personally, I'm not interested in ooo-ing and ahh-ing at the guys who have it...I'd like to believe I have a chance at getting a set myself. Just like I'd like to believe I have a chance at opening my FS slot.

They shouldn't limit it to only 12 sets of armor, it seems like they already have a system in place to prevent too much of something being distributed (and THAT'S even ticking people off!). If too many people have it, add another resource required to make it that's even rarer than the others. Setting an artificial limit is out of place in the game anyway, since the developers have taken special care to allow an "organic" and player run economy.

As I recall, Boba Fett learned of a fellow bounty hunter who had acuiered (sp?) a set of the armor. Boba hunted him down and killed him. So perhaps If you do happen to get the armor, you will die within the week.

Ok i've had about enough of this "only Bounty hunters will be able to find it' crap. Everyone needs to realize that notall mandalorians were bounty hunters. it just seems that way since the publicized(sp?) ones like Jango, Montross, and boba were. Alot of Mandalorians that wore the armor were only soldiers. Some were the mass batallions of foot soldiers, some were elite commando's and some were bounty hunters, but not allof them were BH's.

If the devs made it to where its a mark drop then i believe that's complete bs. My character is a bounty hunter so i guess it isnt so bad, but why should only bounty hunters be able to get the armor whennot all mandalorians were BH's?

oh, and i have a full suit of composite armor. If a guy told you that the composite armor dropped off of a dark jedi then he was just BS'in you. And the compositehelmet looks nothing like the mandalorian helm.

Just thought i'd post about this.

About clues to the Armor on the data disk, dont get your hopes up.Friends of mine have done several andthe loot from the treasure hunts are always crap. I've done like 12 so far and only 7 have worked. And each time they've worked they've been crap loot. Including the one labeled 'Bounty Hunters stash' or something of that sort. Alot of the treasure hunting missions are bugged anyways so i wouldnt expect any Mandalore armor from them. And i also see alot of NPC's wearing the armor. The BH trainer in the wayfar cantine wears the chest plate. I'll probally post a screenshot soon to show everyone.

Zwag, the guy you're talkin about is Jodo kast. And Boba only killed him because Jodo was impersonating Boba for the reward of Boba's hunts.

And ash, if i were you i'd stalk that guy that wore the mandalorian chestplate. I for one will do anything for the armor... well, almost anything. but really, I'd take the armor over a fs slot any day. Like i've stated over a hundred tmes in my past threads/posts. "If i had a choice of 4 premade Master jedi characters ora set of Mandalorian armor, i'd choose the armor without hesitation". And i'm serious too. Let a csr give me that offerRight Nowand i'd instatly take the armor even if it meant me never havin a fs slot. I'm going to be looking for the armor for the entire time i'll be playin this game. Even if it isnt my first priority at some times i'll still be looking for some sort of clue that may lead me to it.Well anywho, i know no one cares about how much i want the armor but just thought i'd include that. So if anyone ever finds it they can maybe make a deal with me for the wearabouts(sp?) of its location.

Yet another issue for me to help clear up.

There is a shirt, vest, or something, that looks like mandolorian armor. It is not. You can see npc's wearing it around coronet for sure, as well as other places on corellia. how do i know this? I have some. It is not mandolorian armor.
