Sad thing is that probably none of us will ever get Mandalorian armor for months and months, just like Force Sensitivity, because the galaxy is so expansive that we'd probably have to walk over EVERY STEP of EVERY PLANET and complete EVERY QUEST until we saw some evidence of what to do.

My theory: it only drops off of marks in the missions that a master BH can get.Even then very rarely.

Ok, firstly I'd like to state that no, I'm not a Fett wannabe, I'm more a Mandalorian wannabe because I am drawn to and respecttheir story through EU and such.

Secondly my question is this. If the first FS slot is expected to pop up in 2-3 months from release (1-2 months from now aprox.) when is the first piece or set of Mandalorian armor expected to pop up? It seems to me that both Jedi and Mandalorians (not to mention their armor) are pretty rare at this time due to the Mandalorian Wars years ago and such, but I think it'd be a little more easy to get Mandalorian armor to unlcok the FS slot. Anyways, that's me only question, any comments, opinions, and ideas are welcomed.

think about it how many people do you see running around in mandalorian armor in the movies, 2 how many jedi do you see in the movie, a whole hell of a lot more then 2

Umm, well, actually, in the original trilogy you only see about 4 Jedi or so that I can remember. Luke, Darth Vader, Yoda, and Ben Kenobi. One is a Sith Lord's aprentice who dies, Yoda and Ben die, and Luke is the only one who comes outta the whole thing alive. You're thinking of Episode 1 and 2 where there are many Jedi. I agree that Mandalorians are very very rare in this time, but they all have or had at one point the customary armor of the Mandalorian army.....did it just disappear? It has to be somewhere. And the Mandalorians had a fairly large army, large enough to challenge the Republic in the Mandalorian Wars and have a decent chance of winning. I can see why they'd make it rare, everyone wants it. But I think perhaps they've made it a wee bit too hard to obtain if nobody in-game has even 1 piece of it yet that I've heared of, yet people (such as Meyree) are on the path to become FS and such. I'm not too worried, eventually it'll start popping up more in a few months I'm sure, just curious, haven't heared much talk of it since Beta 3 and earlier though. Any Dev's have any thoughts on this? Is it yet to be implemented into the game yet?

Sorry if I come off as a 12 year old Jango/Boba wannabe, I'm not at all. I'mjust curious as to what the stats are and if it's even good etc. If it's as rare as it seems I'd assume it'd have good stats to it, if not, I'll stick with somethin else.

Btw Tolore, not trying to flame your or some such, I can see what you're thinking. But another reason you don't see anymore than 2 suits of Mandalorian armor is because it just so happens that those Bounty Hunters are Mandalorians, and they happen to tie in with the story. If there were more Mandalorians that tied in with the story, then you'd see much more of it I'm sure. Just a thought though.

that is true(don't worry i didn't take it as a flame at all) i haven't read very many of the books, actually the only one i have read is called the mandalorian armor(its about boba after he survives the pit thing he is thrown into(i cant remember the name ARGGG)) so anyway i don't know much about the mandalorian war so for all i know that stuff could have been common military armor for the mandalorians or it could have been only for special soldiers

Ok, please tell me I'm stupid if I'm wrong but doesn't the armor that Jango Fett wore look EXACTLY like the Composite Armor that's in the game right now? I bought a set for about 100k mostly for the looks cuz it **edit**s up stats if you wear and I don't wear it unless I wanna piss ppl off in pvp.

Well, I'm not an expert at all. But it seems the Mandalorians are almost identical to the Scottish of olden times. They act in clans that are essentially units. So for instance me name is Macjo Adora, if I was Mandalorian my name would be Macjo of the clan Adora. The Mandalorians were a powerfull army about 4,100 years or so before SWG takes place, so they've died out slowly since then. They basically raided and took over planets as they went. War and bloodshed meant honor to em. They were sorta like militarized space pirates almost lol. After the Mandalorian Wars (Mandalorians vs. Republic) most Mandalorians went their ways, Mandalore, their leader was killed during the war, which lead to their loss most likely. Since killing was their nature, most of em became merc's and BH's. Anyways, that's probably about as much as I know about em besides that their armor evolved slightly since then to now. Most of the info I gained through SW:KotOR (great game) which shines some light on a lot of history of SW it seems. Anyways, off to lurk around the forums a bit more.

Oh, just remembered, it's the Pit of Carcoon/The Sarlacc pit Boba was thrown into.

Nope Shady, the Mandalorian armor showed in the movies doesn't have tubes coming out the mask. It does have that little slit in it for seeing, but the helmet also has about a 3 inch slit down the middle. Check the wallpaper in the gallery. Has a picture of Boba in the field. They're different (I haven't seen anything more than composite helmet though) in a few ways, same idea though I believe.

the armor itself isnt rare in the movies, you just dont see much of it. The entire mandalorian army was equipped with that armor. But you didnt really get to see them.
