Thread: Regarding Factional Armor Being Bugged
Hello,
Perhaps this bug is making me paranoid...one of the goals of CU was to make swg a more even playing field...this change hammered Armorsmithing....are the developers disappointed because faction armor was selling for such a high price that it was unbalancing the economy...that is, having wealthy armorsmiths? I believe this is a possibility. I dont think they liked it one bit when adv comp suits were selling like crazy for 300-400k before the CU. Further evidence of this thinking is when the nearly doubled the hitpoints on faction armor to about 70k HP.
This certainly affects AS sales as players would need to buy armor less often due to the increased HP.
The outrageously long wait time to fix a major bug...a week and a half..could it be time for dev to try and figure somethingelse outwith faction armor to cut down on big profits and "even out the playing field"?
Thanks
So rediculas... Still no dev word on the issue, not 1 word. That is- Any word that exists. They could at least acknowledge it and it would makea LOT of people feel better. But at the moment I havn't seen ONE dev word. Thunderheart was clueless to the issue when I messaged him 2 days ago, what is up? Summer vacation just started for a lot of high schoolers, I just started my summer semester at my campus and I can't play as much as I used to because of classes at odd times - this is really annoying because I've been holding off on other armor because I want to try the new faction armors (my current armor is HORRIBLE, way too old, unrepairable). I am currently ATTEMPTING at getting to the villege however the sith jump me and due to some 2000 (maybe that much) energy resist they just own me. I've stopped playing for this week, and I don't intend on playing untill they fix all these issues that they're not even acknowledging, it really sucks. I get on daily for a few to talk to my smith who's already crafted my set of assault and my set of recon armor which is top of the line, just sitting in his house because I can't get to it, and he can't get it to me.
If anyone else is wondering if there is a way around this, as far as we've tried no. I've thrown down a house, admined him, didnt work. He admined me in his house, didnt work. Droids? Nope. Trade? Pssh of course not. I started laughing when I saw that they've 2x'ed our XP. Like others have said whats the point of that for those who are maxed at the moment? Anyways /rant

Well at least we don't have to worry that they can just go to another armorsmith and get the armor they want.

it would seem to me that it was acknowledged... and forgotten it all at once. I mean.. damn.. this is getting rediculous.. I have ten orders lined up for Faction Armors... and cannot sell a single one. They (my customers with orders pending) are getting pissed at me... i refer them to here so they can at least see that it is not me just making up stuff.... then i get hounded every other day.. "they fix the bug yet? they fix the bug? that bug still going?" How the hell should I know??????? I can't see one frickin word where the dev's are doing jack about. Can we at least get an Update on what the heck is going on? Some dev saying. "hey... yeah we are still trying to isolate the problem.... please bear with us until we can track it down." lack of communication is quite possibly the worse tactic to take your game base. anyhow... I would go on and on and complain some more.. but as we are seeing so far... what good would it do?
Another Pissed off AS with another pointless rant
