Thread: Petition for RIS easier
What they also said that since composite is going to be significantly reduced in its quality. (I suspect 90% to 50% post patch, but that is speculation). However RIS will probably not change much at all.
What does that mean? It will become probably harder to get as the number of people farming for the drops is going up, demand will skyrocket with prices and availabilty will probably drop even more.
All I can say is that there are several of the main designers that like extremely rare loot, and enough voices that call for extremely rare power gamers need only apply loot to keep stuff like RIS coming steadily.

True only if you don't want to go out and get the parts yourself. As a master swordsman, I looted everything but two GDK scales (paid six million each) and six of the woolamander harrower bone fragments (paid 300K-350K each). I could have gotten them myself, I just finally realized towards the end I have more time than money.
If you make the choice to sacrifice combat skills then you have no one to fault but yourself. While you may be forced to pay through the nose to get parts that I can get on my own, I end up having to contract a good bit of work out when it comes to making armor.

I have Master Rifleman and 0-4-0-4 Swordsman, so there isn't much that I can't kill.
I got 14 Gurk Hides, 2 Woolamander Bones (purchased), and 0 Scales.
I only killed 6 GDK's so far, so I'm not terribly upset about not getting a scale so far. What I am upset about is having 56 Woolamander Harrower kills so far and not getting a bone.
As for components.. 24 Gurk Kings, 9 hides. 30 Woolamanders, 6 bones. 20 GDKs, 0 scales. I have only ever found one ONCE outside of the static kimo town spawn.
Check the RIS sticky. I some point I posted a link to my guide on hunting GDK's. Towards the end of my time as a GDK hunter I got to the point where I could reliably find a random spawn within half an hour of landing on Lok.

Thanks - I'll give that area a try in about 30 mins when I get home. So far, I had been scouring the volcano for them as that was the general area I found my first wild GDK.
