I think BH armor should be resistant to Lightsaber, but nothing else. I mean it IS BH armor, and BHs hunt Jedi. It should also only be wearable by BHs.

It shouldn't have incredible resists, but just someting to make it useful instead of just for show.

And if they make it really good resists, it can be put in the Master box, so dabblers in 3/0/0/0 BH can't get it, and it gives an incentive to get MBH.

well first of all it isnt for show....its for crafting mando hehe

second of all....i have always thought that composite, bh, RIS, and mando should have certifications like weapons do.

Id like to see comp get certified at novice bh.....RIS at investigation 3.......bh at investigation 4.....and mando at master.

Of course as u said the stats would have to be adjusted a bit for this to be reasonable....Im just really sick of seeing everyone and their dog in comp armor. (here's hopinit gets nerfed into the ground!!!!)

Well, I don't know about taking it THAT far, but something has to be done, preferably before Combat Revamp.

Someone had a great idea to make faction armor craftable and make that be the best stat armor, and nerf compo. That way to wear the best armor people have to be overt, and it'll just look AWESOME to see both sides battle it out in faction armor.

is it really that far out there tho? does comp armor look like armor non bounty hunters would wear? not really

Bounty hunters are kind hurtin as a profession (not as much now with the new skill points) but i think having hardcore armor over the other professions might put bhs back in the game Bh specials as they are now would be hardcore against a player that wasnt wearing comp armor.

But i still want comp armor be nerfed beyond recognition .. hehe

Oh, I can say almost for certain it will be nerfed. But I am not a BH, just a guy who is getting annoyed at the Jedi that just roam the cities freely without fear.

BH and Mando armor look like armor for BHs, and should be treated as such. Comp looks high-tech, but I wouldnt say BH only armor, there should be a cert that you have to have a master of a combat prof to wear it though.

I do think armor should be certed butI dont believe BH armor should be BH only. This armor should be renamed asit is not something indicative of a BH seeing how anyone can wear it.I like the idea of mando as it is now with only a few proffs being able to wear it, too bad it almost impossible to make a set one would want to wear (no color choice in crafting) However an armor certification system would be great.

Light armor certs should be given at novice beginning proffs, medium certs at master

Heavy armor should be given at novice elite and hybrid proffs and power armor at master of those proffs

Armor should restrict movementas it increases tothe higher end as well as attack speedand not affect the HAM stats as they do now.

This is me just ranting and I doubt we will see a system like the oneI mentioned.

i don't see why you wouldn't be able to... except for the feet and other trando-specific annoyances
