They finally answered my ticket. CSR guy was telling me in this ticket that they were working ona fix currently. I hope they patch it soon 
but at least it is a relief to know that they are aware of the issue, not neglecting it and working on fixing it.

The most frustrating thing is that there is not even a HINT of this or other profession breaking bugs being fixed in the up and coming patch 19.

A second update to patch 19 on the TC Ahazi as well as a hotfix for ppl not getting the clone quest holograms as listed in the announcement boards.
Still not logging in to craft factional armor til this is fixed. /onStrike

While I'm only a small time smith on my server, I've somehow managed to get enough reputation in the faction armor business that I now have a backorder list of people who want factional armor that I can't get to them due to this bug. This is new territory for me. 
Any news from the devs on this one beyond Tiggs acknowledgement?

Give me some good news 'cause an imperial armorer out of business is not really fun to play ...
I am very close to give up AS and respec to SW, reverse engineering is not bugged ... yet :\

This Bug has to be ranked as one of the WORST, if the THE WORST bug I have ever encountered in the game, no workarounds!My alt owns the storage house where all our (mine and my friend's) factional and clone armor is stored. Of course now we can't pick up and or get it traded to us and I am reduced to wearing padded, oh the humanity! Lol. Hope they get it fixed soon, padded looks so Buck Rogers meets Michael Jackson's Beat It.

This is bug is inexcuseable. How hard is it to just make bio-linked stuff tradeable again and put it into the game. This bug can not be allowed to continue. I am a Smuggler and this bug is worst than any thing the Devs have ever done to us. Please, fix the Faction Armor bug. The devs have completely nuked the GCW.

I have a strong feeling the devs dont WANT bio linked items to be tradeable?
Why? RotW.
If all the cool Bio linked stuff in there can be bought by someone else why pay $ to buy it?
Factional armor got axed until they make it so it doesnt go by the same rule as RotW.
Thats just what I think though.
Logging on to TC-Prime and making a ST chestplate. Ill try to get back to you once i find if its fixed or not.

I know that is exactly it. Faction armor got bugged because of it and we all have done a nice job of testing different ways of trading it for them. But if they need dev time to fix it, the least they can do is make it tradeable until it is fixed. If they arent going to do this they need to allow me to return my firends armor to him. I have no use for Battle Armor.
