I haven't noticed this at all, in fact I've thought we looked a little smoother during the flo animation but had more abrupt transition into the flos for the last couple of months. Please post if you find this is happening with a specific flo/base combination.

I'm gonna throw this one out as a general bug. I haven't really taken the time to find out any definite way to reproduce it or to figure out how repeatable it is. I keep noticing that parts of some of the dance and /flo combinations are jittery. Most the the animations flow smoothly, but then some parts of some of the /flo's make my character jitter while performing them. I haven't figured out yet whether it's a sporadic problem or whether certain dance and /flo combinations always produce it. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or has any other feedback on what exactly causes this.
I think what I described above might fall into this category. I just had another look and the flourishes seem to be ok for now. It seems that this bug is not reproducable, and occurs randomly. I zoned to a different planet, and it was fixed.

I haven't heard of this happening before. There is a bug where macros built in the in game macro tool will sometimes fail or not complete. Anymore information you can provide?
And if anyone else is experiencing this, please speak up!
I used /startdance to begin dancing and selected each dance from the list.
I then performed flourishes manually (1 through 8 in order) using both the /flo command and /flourish approxiamtely every 30 seconds.
I also tested using my macro (all flos 1-8 with 30 second pauses in between and some effects).
My friend also noted how some flourishes where duplicated and that some were missing.
Bugged in game.
UPDATE
I think floursih 5 in exotic 4 might be the problem-- anything that follows it doesn't come out right. I know it is a long flourish, but even with very long pauses it seems to hang up sometimes.

I've only been running an entertainer a few weeks but I have noticed that a flourish will not execute if the command is given before the current one finishes.
If you look at the dance cards that were posted, Exotic #5 takes 32 seconds to execute. If you gave a manualcommand before the 32 seconds completed, the next flourish probably wouldn'texecute.
Macros in particular are affected by this. They will skip every command until a flourish completes.

Yes I changed the pause to 35 to reflect this. I will keep an eye on it to see if it fixes it (but this doesn't explain the other glitchiness I have seen). Another possible cause might be lag spikes? anyone?
hmm i don't know if this belongs in here but i didn't want to start a new thread seeing as there is allready a bug thread stickied. I doubt it's really a bug that reoccurs a lot though.
bug: i can dance every dance while only being entertainer 0021.
description:
The situation is the following : Bahija used to be a master dancer. I then transferred the character to a different account while she was still master dancer. I used mytoken respecto respec her out of master dancer, but of course i started missing dancing. So i logged in today and went to an entertainer trainer to get novice entertainer back (and eventually dancer). I then went to a cantina and did /startd at which point i should have only gotten basic and rhythmic in my little window... but instead of just getting those two option i got every single one of them. (see screenshot)
http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=setandget&tp=306657&poll_id=0&category_id=19&warned=y
I tried out dancing exotic 4 (as i thought well maybe it gives me the option but i won't be able to dance it regardless and it will say i'm not qualified to dance that) but much to my suprise i started dancing exotic4 indeed. I then checked xp (as once again i thought well maybe it will let me dance it, but i'll just get the appropriate xp for my level ) but i got about 90 and a bit of xp per tick (with only one flourish).
I of course bugged it in game and i'll go report it on the daily issues thread later and in the meanwhile i'm restricting myself to using the dances that are appropriate for my level (though i would love to dance popular 2 again). I didn't try out props but i found this disturbing enough.
I was wondering however if anyone had had this particular bug before or if it might just be related to me transferring the character to a different account and it not updating correctly after the last respec?
Edit: I didn't find the daily issues thread
...
Edit2: I did notice that the dance burundi isn't listed in between (probably because i never had it as i surrendered dancing prior to that coming in game). I tried out inspire and i can give entertainer buff, artisan buff and general buff. I think those are normal to give at my level at the moment, so at least that's some good news ![]()

Apologies I'm in a rush so this might have already been a well reported bug. I just discovered it myself and thought I should post it.
Last night I got the musician buff from a dancer. I am novice musician and equipped a mandoviol (that's not the bug part). I then proceeded to play various songs and instruments during the 2 hours and some odd minutes of the buff. Near the end of the buff I equipped the mandoviol to see what would happen when the buff ran out. The buff ran out and... yeah I'm still playing. Looks like I can continue to play the mandoviol until I stop and unequip it. Once I do if I try toplay itwithout the buff then I get the message I don't have the requisite skill.
I know this particular ability isn't popular with some of those who did spend the skill points and time to get ME so I wanted to point out that if the buff is going to stay as it is then when it runs out the ability really does need to go away. Not sure how to code the fix... seems like they'd have to have a sort of "hard stop" in there that brings the musician to a crashing halt. Maybe as the buff is going, and the icon starts flashing, they could use that scary buzzer they have in the entertainer quest in Mos Eisley. That would give people a noticible alarm that they are about to have to switch instruments again.
I do have to say, I had a lot of fun being able to play this instrument. The moves didn't really go with the folk song I was playing but I still enjoyed it.
I noticed the Mado thing too.. I also noticed tho, that once the insperation ran out, I stopped getting Xp for my flourishes.
So.. if somone is intersted in Xp they will need to stop and switch, or get a new insperation.
Bug: Graphics/client 'freezes' periodically while I am being watched/listened to.
Details: I've noticed that my clent 'hangs' or does a 'freeze frame' every 20 seconds or so. I've kept track and it only occurs while someone is watching/listening to my avatar.
Anyone else experiencing this?
