Don't know about you guys, but when I was stocking Kashyyykian Cerimonial Armor (Been saving up resources and stuff for the new armors now) I sold it for 25k a set, solit. Never more, never less. and I madea HUGE profit, and could never keep my vendor stocked. I also sell my Kinetic Comp for 275k a set, and I can't keep it on my vendor. Again, I make a HUGE profit. I don't know how people justify charging 85k for wookiee armor or 400k for comp except that You can get it. I know I don't plan to charge more than 150k for a suit of Hunting armor and 85k for Black mountian, and those are the maximums based on how the stats come out. Bottom line is, wookiees needed armor. I hear a lot of people kevetching about PvP, but what about PvE? Wookiees should rule in PvE, but they don't, cause of armor. Plain and simple. I don't PvP. Period. and I still use my 80% Kinetic Comp armor. So the wookiees get armor. It is gonna happen, and it's a good thing. That's my 2cr worth.

Well, i had my dought's but the stats on this stuff actually look good. But I knew there would be a hitch. So that Gaint horned head dress isn't a helmet but part of the chest piece? Does that mean we'll be open to shot's to the dome? And every rifleman/swordsman lil byatch? I'm not famliar w/ the way it works,because I've never been allowed to wear armor!

Im gonna Re-roll as a wookie, because when devs nerf doctor buffs, and give wookies uber armor, hell im gonna be better then normal stat Humans

just posting these words of wisdom for the next few days...
The reasonable thing to request from your server armorsmiths is to give them a day even if they have all the resouces... as we need to run some segments the day it goes live as we cant just hand make segements and plop them into the armor... so be polite and give your smith a day or two to produce segments.. also be spairing on your smiths... We can do a lot... in a few hours, but if we say the resouces are junk right now try back in a few days, it means that we dont have quality resouces to be able to get to a good stat range just yet...
Also be willing to help your smith out... If they offer you a deal of go get me 5k of Tat Wooly and I will make you some suits as soon as I get the resources do so... as that helps us a lot more than walking in and sitting in our shop yelling at us that we dont have the armor ready for you...
I already plan to log out the first time some customer gets in my face and says that I Suxs because I dont have top notch armor up and running... Also I plan to put you on /addignore if you get annoying beyond reason.. I highly suspect that the first dozen or so suits will be custom jobs... and that it will take more time to get colors as the hunting looks like it has a broad spectrum of colors...
Cant expect too much first few weeks on a new armor as the resources may not be around to get a good suit in the first week or two..
So it pays to be polite and help out and not get angry with your smith because they are not up to speed the day it goes live...
Also if your smith is charging more than you where expecting and they say that they are charging you a fair price, thats probably true... as these armors are organic intensive and are expensive to aqquire resouces for...
Just some words to live by over the next few days...

The chest plates on all of our armors protect Head, Bicpes and Chest... so they wear out really fast due to the amount of extra damage that one peace takes because its 4 locations in stead of 1...

about the new armor and it having pants.... you want better armor but i has to look right if you know anything about the wookiee race THEY DONT WEAR ARMOR...but in this game i gusse they do. And if pants for wookiees are bad what a bout the wookiee jedi i always see on tat i never hear him **edit**...be gratefull for what you have or dont play i understand this game has faults, Im a brawler twilek health drains fast as hell even buffed but i just keep going so put up with the falute stop bitchiing or dont play.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed is he.
This is the "the one wookie I've seen didn't wear armor so no wookies wear armor" brand of logic again.
I've never seen a Twilek wear armor in the movies either, so you'd better turn yours in you enormous bafoon.

Only Twi'lek (and yeah, I understand that you were directing the comment)? How about the Bothan, Mon Calamari, Zabrak, Trandoshan, or Rodian races? Truth is, we only saw one race wearing armor in the movies, yet no one seems to be up in arms about a dog or lizard being able to wear full (or near full) composite.

The physics of a wookiee putting on pants doesn't even make sense, that's like trying to put some levis on a grizzly bear, it ain't gonna work.
I'm so enraged by that screenshot of the new armor that I almost want to quit playing since it is justanother indicator of the backwards thought process the devs go through with every aspect of this game.
If we must have armor then I beg you devs ANYTHING BUT PANTS!!!!!!! I don't mind like plating with straps but those freaking things look like gym sweats for godsake.
the pants are nothing compared to those helm pieces of the chest plates /shudder
someone should take it back to the design team and make the ceremonial armor the high-grade stuff, it's the only cool-looking one IMO

I understand the arguements against all of the things that were brought up here. I play a wookie and a zabrak on bloodfin so I have seen both sides of the fence. Let me tell you something too, before armor leveling a wookie really sucked. No amount of high buffs will take away 4 or 5 mokks or jantas pounding at you with between 100 and 400 damage a shot. PvP well that is even worse. Continuity has already been broken time and time again, and as much as I would love this game to follow the movies and the books it just won't happen. If you have ever played any other MMORPG than you know that the game evolves. Just because han, leia, chewie or luke didn't do something doesn't mean we can't. This plan was announced a while ago and they implimented it because their were quite a few people complaining about the lack of armor for a wookie. Please before you say kill the buffs and don't give wookies armor that will make everything right, consider what that will do. You won't even be able to walk into the DWB or the Corellian, both of which to me seems like cool content, not very story driven but cool none the less. The geonosian cave?? better bring a large group because when you hit the kwi's you will be done, not to mention the acklay and the droids. Maybe you think this will induce group play, it won't. No group of low buffed, fairly unarmored players is walking into any situation and even having a prayer at the big critters even in a group. So let's keep things the way they are and just push on, I don't see how this can be a game breaker. There are many more important issues i.e. the FRS overt farming problem, than wookie armor.
