Thread: What will you charge for Wookiee Armor?
No no, if the cost is 250 k before profit (which is about 250 cpu!!!), then you are a lazy armorsmith.

No - you're just a lousy calculator. Do you know how much some hides go for in cost? Are you an armorsmith? If so, you are aware of how many hides these suits take to make. It doesn't mean you're lousy, it means you probably are using some very goods hides in your creation.
All this being said - I charge 80K for my Wookie suits. I'm not too concerned with making sure I get what my hide is worth. But some people are - it doesn't make them lousy. Their pocketbooks will say tf they are lousy or not.
I am fairly new to being a Master Armorsmith, but I have to say I have been shocked at what low prices you are apparently willing to charge for your wookiee armor. I spent several days before the armor went live almost exclusively devoted to collecting resources, including imposing on friends to join mein gathering the Yavin hides. I tied up all three of my factories for the first couple of days the armor was out making segments and armor for wookiees.
I used adv segments andwas getting 51/30-ish resistances. I gave the first batch out of the factory to wookiee friends, the put some on the server at 200k/set, which isaround whatI charge for a set of my 70/30ubese. Soon other smiths began selling sets for under 70k a suit. Nevermind that it wasn't advanced or that the stats were much lower, I don't understand how you could sell something that uses as many hides as this armor for that low a price. I harvest most of the hides myself, but even using my Master Ranger alt, the hide gathering takes a long, long time.
Anyhow, I still have a couple of suits up on each of my vendors, but the rest I am holding back to give to friends to replace theirs, as the decay is rather rapid, isn't it? That gives me a lot more pleasure than selling it for what seems to me a loss, given that I have lots of other things to do with my time. And I don't anticipate making any more except as favors or special orders.
Not criticizing anyone, just pondering ...
