I'm just sitting here, thinking to myself... what would the galaxy be like, if all knockdown specials... where nerfed to pve only?
Pvp knockdowns still did damage, but act as a single posture change, instead of landing someone on thier back.
Non-stacking, posture changing pvp only knockdowns... yay or nay?

The just made armor a function of style in the revamp?
Why not have it so everything less than Composite and greater than bone have resists to everything and the choice of the armor is style?
We know that there will be class restrictions on armor after the revamp to, so composite will probably be the high end at 65% for commandos, squad leaders, and bounty hunters.(just a guess, but it makes sense.)
I figure they will gear the ubese towards the Melee professions and padded towards the elite range professions.
I think over all armor restrictions based on class is a good thing. (hard for a doctor to perform surgery when he is in composite armor. or a MTKA to move with that kind of speed in Composite)
We all can admit that the armor is out of balance, even as a ten point smith I make good ubese and composite just for myself.
So what do you think? Since this is going to happen any way, why have people only having one type of armor?
WEhy not bring tantal and chitin up with the rest of the armor maybe then at least we will see some variety.

I would like to see more pieces of working Tantel. I'm not sure I like the class restrictions of armor though, my MAS has no combat skills and it's nice to wear my own armor for protection on harvestor runs.

If you stuck around this long after all the bugs, borked quests, crashes, nerfs, non-working professions....
You aint going anywhere.

I wish that were true man. Unfortunately, I think this "revamp" is going to push me over the top. Still looking for an answer to that question...

I wouldn't be so sure of that. This revamp and the lack of fun and interesting things to do in the game are seriously disapointing to me as well anymore and Scudd and the others joined in when they heard how much fun it was from me at the beginning. I've given up all hope that they'll get this profession or any other profession fixed to the point where it's worth playing. I'm just holding out for the JTL beta to see how that goes and if we've all learned something from this last year of live gameplay and the what 2 or 3 years of development prior? It's that they may make that fun to begin with since it'll be fresh and new, but they'll "tweak" the game right to where swg is right now eventually. I'd at least like to blow the hell out of some xwings before I cancell though and move on to Everquest 2 for some much needed fresh fun and content. I couldn't even care less anymore about jedi and it took me ten months of grinding every profession to open my slot. I'm not very interested in killing more of the same damned creatures over and over and over again anymore.

I don't think they'll allow us to use force powers while wearing armor Scudd.

I agree.
It's like a mini boycott and nothing works better then a boycott.
The problem with them is that many people believe, what can 1 person do? Well alot! Tell other people about it and they will definatly join as there are thousands out there who share that same idea only believe they are just one person.
To get things done you must stand united in a group, which we are. We have voiced our concerns together and due to the "Developers" incompetance, we must go to the next level which would be deleting our accounts.
And don't worry... You are guaranteed at least 3 months that your data will remain on the servers. After that your safe too just no guarantee.
