This is good. Though I find it hilarious that many people think it's unfair that we Wookiees get armor. It's only realistic that Wookiees have armor. Either that or 40k HAM. Face it. We're supposed to be the strongest race. But in SWG it has been the exact opposite since launch.
If you really think it's unfair then make a Wookiee character on another server. Try killing something. Being a master of a combat profession and getting
killed by a single Piket is simply laughable.

Wookies are normally bigger than Chewie and covered in armor (like Chewie's figure from Shadow of the Empire).
So the armor should look like Chewie's SotE armor.

WOOOT wookie armor, pvp has sucked for wookies forever, until now, this makes my day truely better, fine go ahead and take away our ham bonus, with buffs it really doesnt matter, money is so easy to come across, if you ahve enough money for armor, then you have enough money for a set of buffs, and the wookie armor better be as effective as regular armor, if its not, then theres really no point, just take away our ham bonus and give us armor, the ham bonus is really nothing, even witha full set of buffs, you can still get killed as anyone else without armor, so all I say is take away ham bonus and gimme armor as effective as regular armor!

I think wookiee armour is fair in a step in the right direction.
I also think making it so its only a partial full suit (say no boots no bracers and gloves or something like that).
Anyone whos "its so unfair" just please grow up and stop moaning like chilidren seems everytime something new is in the game and it does directly affect everyone for the good someone has to cry about it.

Regardless of what the suit looks like it needs to offer the same level of protection as the composite the monkeys wear or it isn't good enough.

Why does everyone want wookiees to be the weakest race in the game ? No-one's talking about giving wookiees god mode, if the wookiee armour has the same resistance but higher encumbrance than human armour it will make the two races equal in combat, that's all anyone is asking for.

The extra wookiee stats are locked in health and strength, therefore if the armour was to have extra encumberance then it should only be in the chest piece, as our other pools are the same as everyone else. If anything most races can have MORE mind than us so helmets should have LESS encumberance.

I doubt they'll give us some uber armor....I just hope it looks cool. That's it, no more expectation. /sigh

Has anyone seen any pics of what the Wook armor will look like? I'm just curious if there any "in-concept" art pics.
