Thread: Official word on PSG's, lightsaber resists and anti-decay kits?

Okram, you really surprise me that your a correspondent. Your comments and replies towards jedi who have concerns about the resist seem childish and very unprofessional...what a difference Songouki is from you lol.
Anyways, I will not have a problem with LS resist if we are compensated in return. I mean get real here people, no regular profession should be able to stand toe-to-toe with a knight except for a master bounty hunter,which is currently not the case.
I gave 6-12 months of my life and time to grind a profession to find outI can and wasslaughtered by TKM / fencer stackerswith these ridiculous PSG with LS resist that block more than 1/2 our damage. it's easy for you to say get over it and we want aI win button. I personally do not want aI win button,I like a challenge, but when I'm standing there for 4 mins with a stacker on PSG steriods in which I even popped a holocron and not budge his ham....I all I have to say is "something is wrong".
This really needs to be looked at...

Those documents were written as General Knowledge stuff that wasnt written in stone many months before publish 9 etc. Those same exact Documents stated Jedi would get High End COmposite Equivelent robes.

SO why dont you shut up you "Babies" and accept it. You guys can fight anything in the game with you 80-90% armor resists and 3K buffs. Jedi have to fight the same stuff with 3K buffs and 0 Armor resists.
So many other profs got more shafted than you guys. You cry so much about yur damn robes...thats why theres the DEFENDER skill tree.
Its funny how you guys whine about sucking in PvP, yet every jedi video I see the only move they use is dervish2 and saberthrow. Jedi need to learn how to fight before they can make an arguement about losing.
Again like I stated before fencers were the hardest hit by the AD PSG kits.
Oh, and about 80%-90% armor and 3k buffs...guess you have been living under a rock and havent heard of the CURB yet.
Go troll the BH boards or something and leave the AS forums alone Baby Huey.

Im on the AS forums cuz I have an AS alt, dumbass.
80%-90% comp and 3k buffs have nothing to do with jedi...esp 3k buffs cuz you can get them too.
A good jedi will be able to overcome the AD kits. You guys got immortal LS's anyway so if I were you I'd quit yur maoning and find a way to win besides dervish2.

if everyone was jedi and unable to use PSG's would that make u happy???
i bet it wouldnt, as most jedi think that there is too many jedi as it is........ i admit i am in the process of unlocking one of my toons, he is a rifleman/CM, and every time he fights a jedi he gets owned...... yes i use a PSG on him.
However what no one has taken into account is encumberances, yes on my toon i wear armour, i know jedi dont have any with there robes, my armour has no LS resists, everytime i special it takes alot of mind to do say a headshot3, jedi just use force, so all in all is 46% from a PSG alot??? (before anyone says anything i know PSG's have zero encumberance)
In my mind jedi should be a hard grind and have a hard time (i am expecting this when/if i unlock), as jedi are supposed to be the best arnt they?, anyway from what i see(dev point of view) the only way to control the numbers of jedi is to make it hard. if you are knight what do you have to lose by getting killed anyway, you wont care about the loss of XP after all, and is that not the reward for being knight?, unless you intend to regrind your template???
maybe jedi should be able to wear them.......... but then again have u seen how long jedi v jedi duel go on for?????
So back on topic, yes i think PSG's should have LS resists, as most true MBH's are ranged and jedi get something like 80% (please correct me if i am wrong on this) sabre block to ranged attacks.
Maybe there should be a special quest reward that can be put in PSG's to give the LS resists (might add alittle content to the game).
I also think that you should be able to put a AD on a PSG, bit of a waste mind as u could have it on some uber wepon etc........

while off topic ill quickly respond to that. Jedi have the 85% saber block because we have no armor resists. How do you expect a jedi to survive a 600 damage DE-10 doing eyeshot if we cant block majority of those shots?
Im all for LS resist PSGs if the Jedi get the armor we were promised. thats the reasons psgs dont have resists atm is because jedi didnt get thiers.

Now in light of the contrary messages being given and because I and many other player like me are not clear because in part of the information that is coming out of this forum in posts still visible for all in the community to see in the Armorsmith forums, would you the armorsmith correspondant wish to clarify whether or not these PSGs are supposed to have LS resists or not.This is an issue germaine to the entirety of the community as it affects more then just armorsmiths.When you answer please clarify are you answering as youthe player oras the Armorsmith Correspondant for Star Wars Galaxies who has gottenthe presented information from a developer. Either way i am happy, so thanks in advance.

and if you guys are curious, several correspondants have asked for official word from a red name to clear things up. I don't know if it will come or not, as rarely do they answer our call for official word, but we will see.

Don't try and pass it off as just the one star bandit. Use reading comprehension and you'll realise the comment that okram responded to was in reference to jedi one starring information they don't like. Okram then made his comment that jedi who one starred his post just want an IWIN button.
So yes, the the "IWIN" comment was in reference to jedi.
