Thread: Official word on PSG's, lightsaber resists and anti-decay kits?

PSGs were stated they arent suppoed to hve LS resists. and stated they are then stated they arent.
You "Babies" as you called us Jedi keep shoving In Development Documents in our Face that say they were gonna. Those documents were written as General Knowledge stuff that wasnt written in stone many months before publish 9 etc. Those same exact Documents stated Jedi would get High End COmposite Equivelent robes.
Niether happened then TH stated PSGS arent supposed to have LS resists.
SO why dont you shut up you "Babies" and accept it. You guys can fight anything in the game with you 80-90% armor resists and 3K buffs. Jedi have to fight the same stuff with 3K buffs and 0 Armor resists.
So many other profs got more shafted than you guys. You cry so much about yur damn robes...thats why theres the DEFENDER skill tree.
Its funny how you guys whine about sucking in PvP, yet every jedi video I see the only move they use is dervish2 and saberthrow. Jedi need to learn how to fight before they can make an arguement about losing.
Again like I stated before fencers were the hardest hit by the AD PSG kits.
Oh, and about 80%-90% armor and 3k buffs...guess you have been living under a rock and havent heard of the CURB yet.
Go troll the BH boards or something and leave the AS forums alone Baby Huey.
80%-90% comp and 3k buffs have nothing to do with jedi...esp 3k buffs cuz you can get them too.
A good jedi will be able to overcome the AD kits. You guys got immortal LS's anyway so if I were you I'd quit yur maoning and find a way to win besides dervish2.

Im all for LS resist PSGs if the Jedi get the armor we were promised. thats the reasons psgs dont have resists atm is because jedi didnt get thiers.

These posts are quickly turning into a flame war, which I don't know how you do things in the jedi forums, but are completly unacceptable here. I ask all armorsmiths to stop this now, and further please do not go into the jedi forums looking for a fight either. I hope jedi will respect us and stick to your own forums. This is not the jedi forums, the armorsmith forums. The question was regarding armor, not about jedi not having an edge in pvp. And frankly it is unacceptable that this post has devolved into a back and forth argument of wether or not there should be light saber resistances.
If you want to argue LS resistances, do so in the Jedi forums. If this continues in here, I will personally report all threads in this forum regarding the issue to a moderator as posts that have high probability of devolving into a flame war and ask for their deletion.
If you don't want to enguage in a flame war or have threads degenerate into flame fests may I suggest you stop using language that incites it. Nowits funny, there is also a post from thunderheart saying that he made a mistake and that the PSG wasn't supposed to have lightsaber resists.
Also if your correct and the devs have given you information contrary to what your predecessor was given, might I suggest that you update the faq your predecessor Jattowaals made specifically:
There are currently no types of armor that are resistant to Lightsaber damage. This includes PSG's. Sometimes PSG's will display a resistance to Lightsaber damage while they are in crates or on a vendor, but will suddenly become vulnerable again when removed from the crate/purchased. There are conflicting statements from the Devs as to whether PSG's are supposed to be vulnerable to Lightsaber damage, so currently the future status of this issue is uncertain.
Now in light of the contrary messages being given and because I and many other player like me are not clear because in part of the information that is coming out of this forum in posts still visible for all in the community to see in the Armorsmith forums, would you the armorsmith correspondant wish to clarify whether or not these PSGs are supposed to have LS resists or not. This is an issue germaine to the entirety of the community as it affects more then just armorsmiths. When you answer please clarify are you answering as youthe player oras the Armorsmith Correspondant for Star Wars Galaxies who has gottenthe presented information from a developer. Either way i am happy, so thanks in advance.

Reading comprehension is a plus when on the boards. Please note that his "I WIN BUTTON" comment was about the one star bandit NOT about jedi.

thank you...
and if you guys are curious, several correspondants have asked for official word from a red name to clear things up. I don't know if it will come or not, as rarely do they answer our call for official word, but we will see.
So yes, the the "IWIN" comment was in reference to jedi.
