No bonuses at master level? Maybe an additional +5 to stack w/ the leftover +5 from the 25 cap? Also wonder what "almost better than when it was newly made" means.... (when you hover over Repair IV: Rejuvination)

Can't wait to know if it's intended to stack or not, of course.

Guys, please, everyone just cool your jets. I don't personally think they would stack to get you to 14 points. This will just allow people to get to 12 points without having to pay ungodly amounts of cash for SEAs!

As for the sckeptics of the tree, KGJV was the person who posted the previous trees the moment pub 3 went to TC, and the tree turned out to be accurate. I personally have taken apart P9's patch file and seen these mods with my own damn eyes , KGJV has just put them into a more readable format (wich, according to TH, has a wrong/bad layout, details...)

The fact is, I'm 99% sure they dont intend it to stack. Do you realise what you could do with 14 points? You could make Composite that anyone could wear unbuffed and still survive with, it would totally unbalance the whole economy, and it won't happen. If there ARE reports coming in from TC that it does stack (and the first P9 jedi will be on starting tomorrow, with TC2 hopefully following hours only later...), anyways, if there ARE reports of it stacking, then it probably is a bug, and it will be reported and fixed!

Enough crafters revolted on the day they tried to push their new experimentation changes. If enough people revolt now, they will not let it be stackable. But it WILL be a way for new armorsmith to get into the business fairly faster than before. Not having to borrow around 50M or more for your +2 exp points is a real gain, and it can also help ASes who dont have all the best resources yet to get a foothold in the business.

There won't be 14 exp points, there just won't be

Now if i were you guys, i'd be worried about the new Lightsaber damage type. I came on the forum just now expecting to see ten posts asking for cotosis layers to be added to armors!

The new Damage type for jedi is "Lightsaber", currently nothing resists it, no mob, no armor (not even mandalorian, a few people have been able to craft a helmet on Tc just yesterday! ). In the SW lore, cortosis is the only ore (or metal maybe?) known to resist the blade of a saber. My proposal would be that you would get a quest, to get access to a schematic for cortosis layers to be added to composite. That way some player armor would be able to resist lightsabers, even if such armor goes for the same prices as RIS...

I'm a 10 point Armorsmith and I make Composite that can be worn without buffs (80% Kinetic with 60% Base). If I had an extra 2-4 Points then my armor would just get a little lighter and allow for more special spamming without buffs. Although, who goes out unbuffed anyway?

Read the whole forum... with force sensitive it may be possible to get +14 because totally different skill attribute, no one knows, only speculation like most of these forums

It is but the point of the discussion is that that skill modifier is callded armor experimentation and this skill modifier is called force experimentation and it is therefore reasonable to think that they will stack.

Experimentation isn't hardcapped, but the bonus from SEAs is.

The Kitten's Diary, Day 781: I have discovered a most delightful way of making life miserable for my captors. Yesterday, I ate the woman's precious begonia, and today I have dismembered the amaryllis in the bedroom window. She is furious over the loss of her darling house plants! I find it highly gratifying.

ARMOR EXP = ARMOR EXP

FORCE EXP = FORCE EXP

I agree w Jaato in thinking this more than likely has something to do with Jedi crafting. If it doesn't say Armor Experimentation it's probably not Armor Experimentation. I mean, Weapon Experimentation doesn't mean Armor Experimentation, right? I know this is a simple answer but the simple answer is usually the correct one. My prediction: no change in the current system.

By the way I agree obtaining 12 exp pts is a testatment that the AS is at the pinnacle of his/her profession. If someone has 12 exp, they haveobtained a great deal of creds. To do that they have:

-grinded to MAS

-a quality product

-effectively marketed the product

-repeat business

-priced items correctly

-clearly spent months learning the profession

Fifty mil is a lot to spend on tapes. I have 11 exp by the way and it will be that way forever unless I ever loot a +11 tape. Props to 12's.

they are only implimenting quests into most things because they are trying to keep us busy while they finish making JTL. but once JTL comes out i have a feeling armor/weapons will no longer be much of a business because most people will be in space and be in need of spaceship components. i hope JTL comes out soon because it will be the turning point between time consuming addicting game to one of the greatest MMORPG's ever created

Please go back to the original link and hover the mouse over the skill mod for "Force Experimentation +5". It clearly says that the skill mod directly affects the number of experimentation points available for the crafting of any item.

The person who put that page together pulled everything out of the client download sent to Test Center players recently. He did the same thing when the Jedi skill trees were downloaded to the live clients but before anyone unlocked. He was spot on.

Are we sure that won't make the AS hit the cap at +25 like it is now? Maybe this is the answer to all of the 12 point AS out there, the only other way to become a 12 point AS is to grind up the Jedi tree.

Think of the positive side--it'll be possible to get extra experimentation points without having ridiculous sums of money for experimentation tapes.
