The whole thing here Kev105 is that you need to use the rare components from these tough creatures that don't always drop. As far as the resources go as well, they are just about as rare and some have not been around for months. If they have been around, there is no guarantee that the resources are good. So in the beginning.. you work hard to get these components and the resources only to give them away. It is really sad that you go through all this trouble only to be giving these component and the boots to the rude little Armorsmith. So mass producing can only go with having lots of these components and the resources.

If the albatross has vulnerability to heat, then that should be no problem for a medium level pistoleer with some CH capabilities, even with just health shot 1+2, you can bleed him for maybe around 2800 health if you're lucky, with a FWG5, and with other pistoleer skills it shouldn't be too hard, those pistoleers with stop shot can pack a wollop.

But it's nice to see a fellow Master Ranger/CH, my house is nw of keren, hehe, and with pistol health shot 2, you can basically solo almost anything, for now that is.

The reason for RIS being an involved quest is to give people a "quest" to do. Either have fun and do it or shut up and go back to farming your holocrons.....lol

I must admit, I have profited mightily from it, but aside from credits...I have no armor to show...

In literally HUNDREDS of Giant Dune Kimogila kills, I have seen ONE RIS component scale drop... This quest will be around for a LONG time to come... keep at it...

I got 8 kimo scale segments off of one kimo loot. We had to kill about 6 kimo's before I got them.

After I do all this (3 steps of the quest) will he give me the schmatic to make RIS armor until my heart's content (provided I have the resources)? Or do I have to do this quest each time I want to craft a suit?

good question, i think you will be able to make RIS armor until that game is over ( if you have that ressources) ..

but, i just think that, i do not know..so..would anybody pls answer that?

Ok I am not even an armorsmith, but Iwant toknow what kind of stats this ris armor has.I mean for the trouble you gotta go though to buy or collect resources for it,I thinkit would be helpful to know what it can do before setting out tobe a proud owner of a full set. Encumbrances, resistances and vulnerability. Thanks and great thread!

The quest is 3 steps.

First you craft an Armor Segment, Take it to the hermit, he keeps it. Then he give the schematic for the Layer. You craft it and return it, he keeps it too, gives the schematic for the boots. You take that, (needing an armor segment) craft it and return it to him. He keeps it and then he then gives you the rest of the schematics.

I am trying to help an armorsmith friend out. We are on eclipse server and are looking for Chanlon intrusive ore. Anyone have an idea at what planet it might be at and/or what area? Just wondering
