There are 2 static spawns for the gurk king abour 4500m apart.

700, -3300

-3762, -3467

The spawn time seem to be a bit faster then 90 mins.. I would say more like 60min.. just enough time for me to kill the king and all his gurk buddies and hike over to the other one and repeat.. So, far after spending 2 days out here ive got over 2k in hide and 1 gurk King hide... this is gunna take a while.

Good luck,

One lowly smuggler can solo the peko albatross. My armorsmith husband saw one while I was sleeping. He logged into my character and killed 4 of them with no help. He got me killed twice but ended up with 3 feathers when it was all over.

So if you see one and don't have time to get a group together, call your favorite smuggler. Feign death and bleed shots work wonders.

Read alot about crazy prices for the components etc..

My question is....

wouldit be an even tradeif someone supplied you withall the rarecomponents to complete the quest andthen gave you the remaining components to make them a full set for them in return? I know there are other resources and credits in the process but would you expect additional credits to change hands to close the deal?

I had seen RIS before they talked about it without realizing it. It is on the Ranger Skill tree in the Prima Guide for SWG, when they showed the out line for it, it took me about a hour to realize it,(talk about slow reaction speed, but who can blame me, it was the week end) but i can't wait to see a person wearing a full suit. Too bad i haven't seen any of it yet.

If you lose the segment, then you need to have 2 sets of woolymander bone and gurk king hide to make the first part and then the boots? or does he give you the segment for the boots?

is it me or is this armor the stupidest thing possible? Not one armorsmith will go after this...wait an hr for a spawn, what a bunch of crap. I've asked every armorsmith on wanderhome server and they all refuse to do it because...its a HUGE waste of time and NO GAINS from doing it

Not very nice of the devs.

They should have you make the layer, then the segment, and then the boots...looks like you better double up on the Woolamander bone and Gurk King Hide.

here is the main question, it says that he gives you the schematic and you have to make the segment/ layer/items. can you use that segment in a factory? if so, just harvest as much of the requirements you can, then do the mission to get teh schematics, then use the factory to mass produce it.

The quest is 3 steps.

First you craft an Armor Segment, Take it to the hermit, he keeps it. Then he give the schematic for the Layer. You craft it and return it, he keeps it too, gives the schematic for the boots. You take that, (needing an armor segment) craft it and return it to him. He keeps it and then he then gives you the rest of the schematics.

Each require (as the first post shows) may mineral/chemical/hide resources along with the other 4 loot drops.

The armorsmith's won't typically be able to even get the loot drops by themselves generaly speaking. The creatures they drop from are extremely tough (for an armorsmith anyway.) We have to rely on others to provide the loot resouces for crafting the armor. There by giving the fighter types a good supply of creds.
