The pallettes jump the same way they do in tailoring. The true true bright red , and tangerine etc are at master. You get a usuable dark red straight out at novice, along with a lighter black. Blues start around tech 3, along with decent greens. Everything before that is really muddy/dull looking. Best purple is in master as well, but you get a decent purple at tech 4.

What is the Highest you have been able to get the resistance to? Sure I'm just a MAR no ca, was able to get 32% blast, 50% kin, 26% base, this good?

Oh and what is the basis for a prices, been trying to figure out how people charge so much?

That is a very nice base. People charge a lot for padded because it takes many different hides. My most popular paddeds are 80kin/51base and 80en/51base.

We have had our first really good yavin wool spawn on ahazi since launch. The difference between 48 and 52 base might not seem like much, but you will be amazed at how hard it is to get from 49-50 on this armor - drove me crazy. All of my ingredients (except cuberian) are oq+sr 1700+; many of them 1850-1950. I use really goos ingredeints to egt 80kin/51base and the best available on ahazi to get 80kin/52 base - kind of annoying considering the differences in some of the hides between the two.

We've just had a great spawn of Lokain leather, spent all my money on it!

So at the moment I am making either:

74% Kinetic

46% Base

Or

72% Kinetic

47% Base

Depending on which of my layers I am using. All my padded resources are well into the upper greens but

my Yavinian wooly is poor so my segments aren't the best!

I made a 38% Base suit last night with under HAM of 2xx/2xx/2xx for the whole thing last night... using Sister layers/Shards it came

out very nicely...

thanks everyone for the replies, see where I can improve. Just need to stop using the not so hot materials, it seems to be the problem with the so so quality armor that I am making.

Still think they should make some way of trying to improve the quality of resources but that is just me.

Are you trying to grind to Master or are these for sale?

If for sale best of luck as I personally havent seen anyone (well maybe 1 or 2 but thats it) using either of these very often and mostly for show even then.

You can make good looking padded for sale, ppl can buy it just for show. All padded I ever made in ALL colours and quality was sold . Non - master ubese can be ok too if you have good res.
