This may seem like a stupid question, but how would an armorsmith with a cl of 1 go about getting faction points?

You have to buy them from a smuggler. Other than that, The only other way I can think is to run delivery missions for the imperial standing by the med center in Naboo for five FP a piece!

Depending on how well your server is doing with your faction, FP's can run from 1200 FP for a suit to 3000 FP for the suit... (for us armorsmith since we have to buy the 10 suit schematic it runs between 12k FP to 30k FP for full suit of schematics, denpending if our faction side is winning or not)...
One thing that gripes me is all the people that flame me because they think my 800k price tag for faction armor is to high.. Im like crap it takes over a week of factory runs to make quad layer core's not to mention how long it takes a lvl 40 Armorsmith to get 30k fp's and this is just to make 10 suits..... Wish they would try being a armorsmith before flaming us about our prices....

If you got JTL and a master pilot space would be the best place to get FP. And you don't have to spend any skill points either.

Your local Rebel AS. Give a server name and you might find one here. Oh plus say what kind of armour you can wear. I personally can only make Battle armour.

Can someone please answer this question for me? I purchased a set of Recon Imperial Armor and I cannot bio link it because I do not have enough faction points. Now I did the clone armor quest and ran into the same problem, but was able to get it all bio linked without any faction points. Please let me know if there is a way around this. Another brillaint idea from the Dev's. In my opinion, I think this is dumbest thing they have ever done pertaining to armor.

You need faction points to bio-link it. No way around it, just the way it works.
Try and find a planet where your faction is controlling heavily and it will be a bit cheaper to biolink.
