Some great information in this thread, however I would like to ask people who have no @#$%ing idea to just shuddup and not sprout your useless information.

Theres too many to list The original poster pretty much summed it up in his first post, the crafting grind is insane.

The crafting bonus is to experimentation success, so you will get better experimentation. This bonus is also better than crafting in a town with "Research Cetre", but it does not stack apparently.

Like many have pointed out, the advantages given by force crafting are small enough that you are NOT required to have them to stay competitive.

So I don't really see why so many people complain about the difficulty of achieving them.........

If it's too hard, just don't do it....

On a lighter note I just trained novice heightened senses and novice crafting mastery without grinding anything yet....

Sense is gonna be relatively easy as I just have to convert my merchant xp every day....

I've trained crafting mastery on one of my jedi, must say I am dissappointed with the bonus given with this

LOL... dunno. I doubt I'll stick around to find out if it gets that bad. I've gotta commend the devs though - the new Jedi have a much, much tougher time than the older ones. No armor, no more saber lines that can be leveled in an hour, functional BH missions, and an xp loss system that can be downright nasty to younger Jedi.

Of course, if/when people give up on Jedi because of these challenges and cancel their accounts instead of going back to play "normal" profession, I'm sure SOE will dumb it down like they did in the past *cough*permadeath*cough*.

As for the FS lines (this post is pretty old), I've got the assembly line completed. I still crit fail about as much as I did without it, and I'm still eating poly cake when crafting custom work. I'll probably get the experimentation line on the hopes that it actually has an effect, but the repair and technique lines are (IMHO) completely worthless.

I got my Experimentation and assembly tonight, had enough xp from free unlock and combined crafting xp to get 3 trees in each. My main hope is that this will allow me to get that rare 2% bonus more often.

So how's it going? I'm wondering if I should try to get glowy, but there's no way I'm going to grind. I'll just gain exp as I craft.

heh, I suppose I could go do the poi's, and some of the easier theme parks.

/waves goodbye to his nice neat badge list

M Artisan, M Merchant, M Armorsmith and absolutely nothing else. That's what I have a second account for (i know not everyone want's one or needs one, i'm just saying). This character is strictly for crafting and selling.
