Hi there... Here is a question that's ravaging in my mind since a week now... it is the right moment and place to ask...
Is it true that weaponsmith have better chance of repairing weapons? I'm asking because I found lot of people that think it's true, and lot of people that thinks it's false... hoped this is the better place to ask...
I just lost my most trusted T-21, and I really don't like to destroy my DXR6 too...
Sorry for bothering, and thanks in advance

If I were you, just to be on the safe side, I'd always go with someone who's both a master artisan AND a master weaponsmith.
I'm not sure if our profession helps with the repair at all, but with the amount of +99% repair tools that get sold, I'm guessing probably not.
Who knows, though. It'd be nice if Weapon Repair Tools were certed at weaponsmith... It'd be a fun job to have

Repair bonuses are bugged. No one has an advantage in repairing weapons or anything else for that matter. Using a good tool (99+%) is possibly the only mitigating factor.
If you want to have some real fun, go to Mos Eisley and find newly spawned characters and pay them to repair your gear with you even supplying the repair tool. Make sure to bring all your really old crappy gear so you can properly freak when your looted pink reinforced work shirt falls apart! Muwahahahahahahahaha!
Yeah, yeah, 9.5 hours of work on a really really dead Sunday night tends to bring out the evil in me. So what's your point?
