When people say there is "random spawning" of the Black Sun NPCs on endor/yavin/dantooine, how random is random? I searched for 2 hours yesterday for a Black Sun spawn on Endor, nothing. What do you suggest doing to improve my chances? Hire a ranger? Was it just a fluke that I couldn't find anything? Any help would be appreciated.

The most common method I have seen people use is to go to the Yavin mining outpost and head NW on the beach and you will eventually find a spawn. There are other spots you can go but this one seems the most popular. It's not really how I do it but I have ranger subbed to 0040.

Random is pretty much anywhere in the upper left quadrant of the planetary map. I've located them at almost every extremity of that area, but not outside of it.

It does, I looted a right bracer and and boots yesterday, but to me drops have been getting rarer.
Can anyone else confirm this?

On average you should get one piece of armour per spawn, in my experience. Remember they will respawn two or three times before the spawn finishes.

17 full blacksun spawns killed after last patch (figure about 6-8 per spawn, do the math). And i believe i have looted credits, a few loot kit pieces, and about 2 disks but not a single piece of armor. A drastic change from what i was once getting.

yavin areas.I've got a line of waypoints above geo cave, leading to the mountians, by the beach and a swoop around the outpost. Easy to find since i've been hunting them forever now i just go in circles. 17 spawns in three days of work isnt too bad 
but i think i quit.I dont hunt them to loot disks, i want armor

I am currently looking for bounty hunter armor...wither the one that fett has or the ones that are titled bounty hunter armor...i am on the chilastra server. what are the prices on both these armor sets? what are the differences? can you choose colors? thanks. if i am ingame send a tell to Ceiucis
