Ya know i am sick of people bitching about other professions. You think we got it made? Then be a damn armorsmith. Be at everyones fricking beck and call constatntly to fix their armor or make a set of chitin.....pay 1000CPU for Kiirium because it hadnt spawned in forever....pay 40cpus for hides, pay 100cpu for ssibiasm.....gee i wonder why composite is soooooo expensive......because the resources for them are outrageously prices. Harvest my own? Sure i can do that for a couple, but there are so many, and are so hard to find i cannot get them all. And i sure cannot get hides as i don't have fighting or scout skills.....bitter no. I enjoy making the armor for my guild and being part of a TEAM. But, i also like to fight. So i have another character that i do that with. Maybe that is what you should do Bobo-Fett30, get another guy and make him an armorsm ith and see just how 'easy' it is and how the money just rolls in. Cause it does roll in and it rolls out just as fast to buy the resources to make more......

Then again, the devs could always given in to demands for loot and let Mandalorian armor pieces drop with their original Beta stats of 30% base resists and no Acid, Heat, or Stun resists.
...Doubt you'll see more than 3 sets per server when loot campers are picking them up with those kind of stats.

I'm curious, i'm a master commando/TKM and i have no problems making money. I'm from bloodfin, where unlayered base composite runs for 250k. Triple layered (NS shards)runs around 1 million per piece. Just go to dath and kill sh!t for a couple hours.

I actually feel for this guy Bobba-fett30, kinda understand what hes saying. I mean I buy a Imp PSG schematic for what 500k and now I can make 1500 PSG's and sell em for 100k each. Thats 150mil credits, off of a 500k buy and well other stuff that is involved in crafting.
But here is to you bobba... Some dude working at microsoft programming some stupid subroutine thinking why dont i get paid as much as Bill Gates?? Thats Bobba's mentality. Crafters are Elite of economy and Combatants are Elite of combat you'll never be rich as a crafter can be.

Wow, its very nice to see a majority of you sticking up for crafters. \
Us armorsmiths are usually called thieves, but if I pay for example 5 million for a Giant Dune Kimo Scale ****DIRECTED TO BOBA****Do you think I'm not going to past the cost on to the consumer?
It looks like Mandalorian will be extremely hard to obtain, which is how it shouldbe.I'm sure the majority of the BH would be ticked if they saw everyone running around in it. I have yet to even see one piece of RIS (and I have enough materials for 2 full suits, except no Dune Kimo Scales), Mandalorian should be even more rare than RIS imo.

and yes i know of your "concept" ace,but basically they keep the schematic for ever while you get paid for it and what ever it was, but then you blow all the credits on other crafted items.
So...are you saying it's the armorsmiths fault that combat profs spend money too fast? Just curious. Making sure I didn't misunderstand.

Where did this guy get it in his head that all looted schematics are permanent. The only permamnent schematics you get are RIS after you do a quest that requires 6 very rare loots, 2 gurk king hides, 2 woolamander bone fragements, 1 peko peko albatross feather, and 1 VERY RARE Giant Dune Kimo scale, the loot alone will cost an AS 10-15 million credits just to get the schematics, we don't even get to keep the final products, just the schematics, so add 1 woolamander bone fragment, 1 gurk king hide, 1 peko peko albatros feather, and 1 giant dune kimo scale for a grand total of aproximately 22-30 million just to make our first piece of RIS!!!!!!
AS for the other schematics in the game, you have obviously never crafted. Take a gander at this.
Interwoven RIS Schematic - 5 USES!!!
Modified Republic Blaster Schematic - 3 USES!!!
Scythe Schematic - 3 USES!!!
Crafter's Apron's Schematic - 3 USES!!!
Weaponsmith's Toolkit Schematic - 3 USES!!!
Exotic Dancer's Leotard Schematic - 3 USES!!!
Demolitionists Belt Schematic - 3 USES!!!
Spec Op Backpack Schematic - 3 USES
Shall I continue.... there are plenty more I can think of...Anyways, the intention isn't that someone just loot the item and use it like in EQ, there are checks and balances. Mandalorian Armor is supposed to be very rare, and by what I have read, is gonna be Very, Very, Very hard to come by. If you want some looted armor, by all means, start killing Nighsister's, they drop armor, or do the Maurader Quest, it give's you armor. Sounds to me that you are just pissed off because you don't have the patience to become a crafter in order to reap the benefits of actually becoming one so you want it nerfed...
Let me ask you this, is it fair that someone who devotes is SWG exsistance to being a crafter can never become a Jedi, even in the new quest system....yes, because if you are not willing to make the sacrifice, then you don't really care about the benefits. Should we just nerf the Jedi system because it isn't fair to someone who doesn't want to do combat professions, no it isn't....I'm done, I need a cold shower after this, some people just make me irate.
