All the rifles and flamethrowers, etc are coming out to beat the other weaponsmiths in damage but are .2-.3 behind them in speed. Obviously speed is a huge issue in a rifle. What the hell am I doing wrong? I'm not using stocks in this case and my laser carbines are fine so I'm not sure its the rifle barrel.

In Rifles you should care about damage. Once you get master rifle man, you have almost capped your speed. When you make rifle, get damage. But when you make flamethrowers, Speed counts ALOT. I guess experiment on speed more.

Your Laser Carbines are on par with your competition, but your Laser Rifles aren't?
Since they both use the same materials, you should be good to go across the board. If you're using Advanced Rifle Barrels in your Laser Rifles, that's going to make a huge dent in your speed. Flamethrowers are another story, as they use a lot of ferrous metal and ferrous metal in high quality is hard to come by. As the above poster said, speed is pretty important for flamers, so I wouldn't recommend using Advanced Rifle Barrels in those.
If you weren't around for the 1-day "beta" of a new experimentation code, then it might be possible that your competition is using pre-nerf schematics in which the stats of his/her rifles are much higher than what normally can be achieved. If that's the case, you're stuck until they use up their schematics.

at the moment nothing, as long as there is maintenance in it..
this is subject to change without notice however, ithas been suggestedby the devs (can't remember which forum sorry)that they will be removed at some point

First off I'm sorry if this seems stupid and If I'm not asking somewhere else which I'm sure some trolling flamer will point out if I'm wrong. I've looted quite a few NS (night sister) Lances. Some of the ones I've looted carry pikeman mods, and many I've seen auctioned carry a multitude of Pikeman mods. The thing that baffles me is that this seems like an obvious polearm/pikeman weapon but I am not certified for the use of them. Yes I am and have been a Master Pike for awhile and probably would have never cared about the question until I looted one I actually wanted to use. Is there something I'm missing here? Someone clue me in if you can. Thanks guys.

I'm a little confused by this. You are granted the certification to use NS lances at polearms 2, they share the same certification as the basic lance.
Are you basing the lack of certification on what you see when you examine the weapon, or does it actually give you the "you are not certified to use this weapon" system message when you equip it? If you're basing it on the information in the examine window, pay it no mind. The certified field is very unreliable.
As long as you don't get the system message you should be able to use it with no problems, otherwise something's gone buggy.

Thanks for the info. Ya I was going by the examine window. I've never had the problem before so It was new to me. I haven't tried to equip one and see if there was a msg but listening to you it seems their wont be. Thanks for the help.

I finally grinded my way to personal armour 3, so i could grind ubese shirts (like the AS guide says to do), but the porlbme is the ubese shirts and the other ubese stuff except the ubese segments dont show up, i have the clothing and armour crafting tool and a clothing and armour crfating station, ut nothing just the segements, smae thing happened witht the PSG components they dont show up and it sayd in my datapad i can make them :/
Is there something horribly wrong i'm donig or is this another bug?
