Great info, thanks!

One correction: All advanced battle cores i've seen that were dropped by krayts had over 5000 base. As far as i know, their stats vary between 5000 and 5500 base, which is pretty good for unlayered armor.

Back to Peko Peko Albatross: Although swgcreatures.com has most sightings in the north, I only recently started hunting there and have had more sightings in the central region. Most of what I have seen have been to the SE of the large lake in central naboo. It's almost like there's static spawns but they have a dynamic range over a particular area to spawn in.

I'm not sure it isn't a case of where you spend your time, as the spawns do not re-occur in the same spot that I know of once you tap out the Albatross from a particular spawn. Interestingly enough there is only one reported sighting in the south of Naboo. Never saw one in mountainous terrain.

I've lost count of how many I've seen, and I've lost count of how many I've either killed solo or killed in group. Pre-CU they were all butimpossible to solo, but with cover shot I've done several solo post-CU. They seem to have problems seeing you evenwhen right over you. It takes forever to knock down their ham so it's a bit rattling to have this gigantic bird hovering over you trying to reveal you. It works much better if you have someone rooting it while you shoot from cover since it keepsaggroing on the highest damage and it can't find me. They don't chase you very far, though, once they discover you, but beware they will disable your speeder.

I had over 60 feathers I recently sold for a tidy sum, all of which I or my groupmates looted. For the short time I've been hunting in the north since the CU, I've come across5 or 6, so I'd have to say that they seem to be more commonly found there. I haven't been looking for them either, I see them while I do missions, and only since the CU have missions been worth doing on Naboo. So, back to my original theory, it may be more a factor ofwhere you spend your time than real distribution.

I've looted the basic assault pieces from Brackasets. The highest I've seen is 1700, lowest is 1250.

The Rancor Advanced Battle Armor segment had 5400 resists.

The Brackaset Plates had +2 to +6 Health Enhancement.

I looted a couple from Boss BH marks, I'll try to remember next time I log to check the stats and post them here. They *seem* to be alternatives to the adv. power handlers (those that have sac reduction as a bonus) in the loot tables.

The Loot List

Loot drop per armor type

Fambaa Hides

Dropped by: Fambaa on Naboo

Used in: Battle Armor segment enhancer

Stat: Health

Looted Range: +4 to +6

Converted: ?

Summary: Lower end enhancer, but still useful if you are not concerned with reaching the cap.

Usefulness Rating: * * *

Just noticed that I bought a stack of +7 Fambaa Hides yesterday. They were just on a vendor that I happened across. No clue if they were converted or not, but based on everything else on the vendor (which was mostly obvious post-cu stuff) I'd lean towards looted. Just an FYI.

I'm still a bit confused.. but I'm not quite an armorsmith, so bear with me

I'm trying to get a set of Stormtrooper Battle Armor with +350 health bonus, all 7 pieces with 4 sockets. If I read this guide properly, it means I ideally either need to get a lot of identical Peko peko feathers, Nightsister layers or Rancor Hide, correct?

Approx. how many wouldI be needing?

Depends how well your AS can craft the 4 socket faction armor.

Socket numbers are random (although it's been reported that with higher exp/assembly, you get a higher chance at 4 sockets).

Just pray he/she gets lucky.

a little confused.

if i use 3cores of +10 in a chest plate the finalbuild will only be +10

if i use 2cores of +10in a Leggins or helmetthe final build will only be +10

if i use 1 core of +10 in an arm peice the final build will be +10

now so as to be not wastful then i should make various values of segments

i plan on adding a feathered enhancment in final build. i think is a + 20 with peko feathers.

so i would use a combonation of segments that will net a core at +30 ?

options might be segments of +10,+10,+10 yeild out a core at +30, a +20, +5, +5 would also yeild out a +30 core.

now weather i use 1 or 2 or 3 cores in a peice of armor the net buff is + 30 without feathered enhancment.

now i build armor with a +20 feathered enhancement and now all 7 pcs come out with a +50 health buff. ?

Do i got this right ?????

thanks.
