All these 80/80/80/70 suits are all well and good but soooo heavy. We need to start thinking lighter as less players can afford to be pumping thenselves full of mind food/drink all the time just to be able to use armour.

aren't heavy at all if you only wear 4 peices

I'm assuming this is armor made with the famous critical success stun layers. If that's the case could you post screenies? Armor resists are capped @ 90%. Call me a doubting Thomas but I'd just have to see it to believe it.

Well a few points that you have to consider.

Crafting day bug. Happened twice I beleive. And allowed some ungodly items to be made.

Also back in the day it was'nt that hard to get triple sliced armor. They fixed that bug a long time ago. But getting it sliced this way you not only were getting awsome base but the ham was pretty dam good. There use to be some SS around the net showing this. This is what I heard anyway.

I remember patch day, made some 43% stun myself, base was brutal though . As for the 90%+ armor, i remember that too. The problem however is that back when that was possible A) very few people worked in stun and B) 40%+ stun wasn't possible on any server. Which would mean, if it's 40%+ stun, it is either patch day, 90%+ not possible due to caps, or crit success, 90%+ caps make it impossible.

Like I said, I'd just need a screenie to believe it.

I've made 40% stun 90% base myself and it's damn hard to get the right slices, but still possible. Just need at least 67% base and a 34-35% effect slice.

Somewhat off-topic...But...How does one go about getting the 70% or greater base? Is it just a matter of resource quality? I would imagine so...But, I'm not totally sure. Otherwise...Nice armor. lol.

I can make 80% quad special with 72% base any day...and I dont have the best resources possible...

Enhanced (lol...can only do it once) I made 80% to everything (cap...couldnt go higher) I used 8% janta hide and 11% NS layers LOL...80% to everything unsliced...Was so mad when I sliced it..got like 9% eff or something... BLURG!!!

best bet.... for now... is 40% stun 68% stun comp with 33-35% eff slice. 90% base with 40 stun owns all.

Check my old posts I made some 44 stun helms sliced to 90 base. I have yet to see a better helm (I posted screen shots of mine)!

90% IS the cap for sliced armor assuming it's been made in the last say year? 90%+ was possible about 1 year ago but not since. Here is one post link make sure to check the post date.

In addition Ive sliced a few thousand suits in the last month and never has a piece broken the 90% mark.
