that sucks.... You'd think they would at least allow "armor" that does not provide protection to be bypass that rule.

PSG's negate innate armour? That's... interesting. I was wearing mine when I parsed damage earlier, and I was still getting damage reduction; and my PSG is energy only.

I was wearing Tusken boots, BE shirt and BE pants last night and innate armor was working fine.

Dumb question: How do I know innate armor is in effect?
Set your combat log to verbose mode in options and make sure all three boxes below are checked. Then your combat log will say something like "Player uses Ability with Weapon for XXX damage (XXX Energy). Your armor absorbs a total of YYY points of damage"

...also in the skill mods window (ctrl-S) there is an entry for innate armor +60 (at TKM). The skill mod goes away when you equip armor.

since CU going live , under examine of ubese shirt it reads as cloth shirt , And repairs using a clothing repair tool ( unluess it's a prenerf ubese shirt which has nothing to repair ^_^ )
An as such I've not found it ti hinder the tka innate armour . Same with wearing a psg , I've not noticed any disadvantage to wearing an equiped psg .

You need to use an armor crafting tool in the vicinity of a personal armor crafting station. So you either need one in your house, ora guildhall (I think this will work), or get a droid made with a personal armor crafting station. You can then pull out the droid and craft the shirt and other armor components on the go.

are you next to a crafting station by chance? Whenever I cant find a schematic in my tool thats the first place I head off to, usually when somehtings missing and I stand next to one it comes back.

Pre-nerfed Ubese Shirts don't have a condition to them and they contain sockets. Because they don't have a condition to them, they last forever. They're valuable because they can't be made anymore, and people with expensive SEAs could use them on this non-decaying item.
The new Ubese shirts (post-nerfed ones) have a condition to them. 100/100, and they also cannot be made with sockets in them. These are the Ubese shirts that aren't nearly as valuable as the forever-lasting socketed ones.
You can tell the difference by examining the shirt. If the Ubese shirt is a pre-nerfed one, you will see a "sockets available: (#)" on it, and you will not see a "100/100 condition" on them. Most of the socketed Ubese shirts appear in your inventory with yellow text. The new Ubese shirts that aren't worth much of anything will not have any sockets to them and you will see a condition on them when examined.
