I am so doing all of that. damn. time to find better resources then! Something isn't right. I was happy enough with the base but I have seen 67% Kinetic out there...... *grabs a pencil and starts a new resource list*
Thank you for your response.

rule of thumb for making Ubese and Composite
With Ubese max out the bottom line when experimenting (then when that is maxed do middle line) for Kinetic Layers (I assume you are putting these in), Advanced Ubese Armor Layers and the actual Ubese Armor. I do this with resources that average 700 and get 70% Kin/19% Base. From that stats you are getting I think you may be putting the Expermiment points in the wrong place.
For Comp follow the same rule as above but reverse the experimenting so max the middle line and then go to the bottom line. This gives me 80% Kin/78% Elec/66% Base with 3 Kinetic layers in the Advanced Comp Segments.
I am sure there is more tweaking that can be done to get better but I don't think those stats are bad! Actually there is a Excel sheet you can download that helps you try things out and gives you the results but I cannot remember what it is called? AS Little helper or something like that.

Yes, I believe you can - but it's not really worth it afaik as the final sub-comp item doesn't have any quality rating (although I think one of the Master Artisan ones might...)
With regards to the actual PSG's: I tend to make 2 flavours of them one that has maxed base resist, and the other with maxed special. Although the maxed base falvour seems to be the more popular (my experience with PSG's is a bit limited, so I'm doing some learning as I go here
From my experience, experimentation here works exactly as it should with all rows having the expected result - with the only possible exception being HAM, as this line will only increase the maximum cond of the shield since they don't weigh anything anyway.
A few notes:
- PSG's take a lot of sub-comps, and you'll need to get a couple of them from your friendly neighborhood Master Artisan
- Imperial Prototype PSG's are far superior to standard Mk III's, but the downside is that it's only a limited use schematic (and I have no idea where it comes from)
Hope this helps again

Hi guys - I have made a post on the test centre forums re; Ubese shirts and bandoliers. If any of you could check it out and give me a definitive answer I would be grateful. Link to the post is below:

Dont know if this is the best place to ask but here goes.
I noticed when refitting comp to ubese that 2 of the parts of arm armour dont convert, does this mean that parts of the body are left unprotected with ubese or does the ubese jacket also protect your upper arms?
Many thanks.

This is the best place to ask, and yes, the ubese jacket covers the upper arms. Jacket, pants, helmet, and bracers are the complete armor. Boots and gloves are for decoration only, now.

Keep an eye on the condition of your Ubese jacket, it should decay faster than the 3 pieces of Tantel it replaces, since it takes the damage for all 3 hit zones.

Im looking to get some ubese made, ive heard that its bugged or something of the sort when pulled out of crate the color changes back to default. I also heard if u craft it by hand you can get the color u want. What color is the darker of the ubese armor? Is it the brown or black? Any screenies?

Brown and black are both options. You can also get a hideous shade of yellow.
