Thread: Armor questions

This is a question, if you cant answer it or have nothing positive to say, DONT. What is the typical armor that most fencers where? I want to know what stats are on the skirts that some PVPers wear. Im thinking about wearing BE hotpants, that skirt, comp boots, comp chest, comp helmet, BE undershirt, and comp shoulders. Is that better than wearing a full suite, and what is the best armor to wear for PVP? My temp is MFencer, MSwords, MBrawler, 0400 TKA, and 0040 Medic btw.
For PVP, wearing boots, helm, chest, and gloves does the trick >99% of the time. Of course, you'll want those to be composite, stun and effectiveness sliced. As for any armor beyond that, I have bits of boner armor and padded armor, which I use for the look and to house attachments. For the clothing, you can find a guide on BE clothing here, In my experience its best to get a Tensile Resistance (Melee Defense + Defense vs. stun) in one clothing item, and Active Biosensors (Injury + Wound Treatment) in the other. I rock Fencer/Master so since you dont rely as much on medic, it might be a good idea to double up on the Tensile Resistance items.
Hope that helps ![]()

As he said:
Helmet, Body, Boots and gloves. It's bugged and the game sees it as a full suit of armor. So less HAM Cost and same defense. (only bad thing is the get more decay)
So for the items you can wear under it: shirt and pants. Just wear anything u like maybe with some nice Clothing attachments on it.
The armor should be composite stun armor. Buy pre-sliced or, buy a couple and slice em. If ur lucky you get all items 90% base sliced and 37% stun. This way u'll be uber.
With a nice acklay stun baton doing 300-400 dmg or more you'll r0x0r.
Yikes, whats the base on your Stun Armor? Pretty impressive to get it up to 90%, best I've been able to get on Radiant is 82%...and that was from a helmet crafted on the day they put in the crafting changes, then took em out the next day. 80 Kinetic, 43 Stun, 82 base.
Boots and gloves no longer provide any protection.
Dont know about the color problem, sorry.

So then what's the point of actually buying the boots and gloves (other than completing the set)? Seems rather pointless to waste credits on crafting them and buying them.
