Composite armor - Helmet, Chest plate, Boots, Leggings. My armor is 59% resist with decent encumbrance costs.

Composite - Helmet, Chest, Pants,Boots, and Gloves - All sliced for encumbrance. I would not pay twice as much for this armor - I would pay an extra 20k creditsfor a full suit pre-sliced for encumbrance (a min20% encumbrance slice each piece).

Right now it seems you have to go to an armor smith with your own slicer or the smith has one and do each piece and pay for those pieces that don't slice encumbrance. I then take those pieces and sell them on our guild vendor or give them to a guild member. This is a pain in the butt to do and can be costly but is still less than double the cost of the suit. BTW, I'm on Radiant.

Armorsmiths - any creative smiths on Radiant out there that can sell me a pre-sliced Advanced composite suit or have a better idea on how to get this kind of suit and maybe pay an extra 20-30k for it?

I am still on the search for my armor. Atm i wear a crazy hodgepodge. Low ham is one of the first things I look at. Also I dont mind low resistances as long as there are Many types of resistances. I run across all kinds of things shooting at me, and many different types of damage. I would rather have composite with ham experimented really low and only 20 perc resists.Basically a good set of tantel is sometimes the best bet for me. I had some really good composite and learned to hate it ..Right now im wearing amix of ubese, padded, and tantel, and I find it works very well. The ham is really good and I have resists on just about everything.. i think my tantel chest only lacks stun damage protection and the ham in tiny. Basically for bounties I say low ham..and as many resists as you can get.. Higher resists just seem to hurt me.

I have a question about armor, and I figured this is the best place to get them.

I noticed items like Ubese shirt/belt/bandoleer these all have armor of light, no encumberance (or resists) and no condition. Do they actually do the armor of light? Even with no resists if they do they they are amazing, so I a wondering if this is how they work, or if they are just decorative.

Thanks for the info

Ubese has encumberance and therefore HAM cost associated to it, like every other armor in the game (except for Personl Shield Generators which have no HAM cost).

My bad, the shirt/band/bandolier was what you were referring to. I'll have to check them and get back with you.

All armor has a rating of light - so in their effort to make the shirt like clothing, they've given it vulnerabilities to everything. So the light armor rating means nothing since it's vulnerable.

Since I have a little more money I am looking for some good armor. I notice on armor there is three sections, Special protection, Effectiveness, and Vulnerable. Am I right in assuming that the percentages beside the number are the percent that that armor will protect you against?

Example
SP
kinetic 60%
Energy 60%

Effective
blast 10%
cold 10%

Vulnerable
Stun-

This would mean that this armor should be primarily used against kinetic and energy, and stay away from stun, Correct?

Thanks for the info.
