"He said 50K for a 73% set of Ubese. I hope you're talking about comp armor if your paying 300-500k for it. Otherwise you're getting ripped off."
He's not... The only high kinetic Ubese sets I've seen for sale cost 50k per piece.

There is no doubt that buffing, obviously, is the easiest and fastest way to gain experience and finish missions. Sometimes buffs aren't available and all you need is that extra 100,000 pistol xp and so this will help you gain experience and live longer. Remember the good old days when you actually had to work for your kills and there was some strategy to it? LOL, but those days are over now and buffs are pretty much a necessity for solo hunting as a Pistoleer.
Oh and it was 61% Special Protection against Kinetic Ubese that I was given from a fellow Guildie. It did the trick just fine and its not as encumbersome as Comp armor.
Anyways all good stuff.

I picked up some 73% Ubese on Chilistra for like 50k a few weeks ago and its what I use to solo without buffs. It has WAY less ham coststhem my 85% composite which I need to be buffed to the teeth and drunk on Brandy to wear. It also was over 600K credits less so if it breaks I don't even blink, I cry every time I need to get a new set of composite.

50k for a 73 percent set? Dammit, Corbantis is inflated. I have to spend 300-500k on 75 percent suits.

Yesterday, I was hunting Savage Quenkers on Dantooine. I had on a full suit of Ubese Armor (except the helmet) with 47% special effectiveness against kinetic, and I was not buffed. Anyways, I noticed that I could go toe-to-toe with a Savage Quenker without using any specials and my HAM bar lasted longer. Ultimately, I could systematically take out the whole lair by eliminating the spawns one at a time and all this while only using one or two specials per 2 quenkers. The only time I needed to make plentiful use of my specials was when I would be rushed by more than one quenker at a time.
Anyone else try this and have the same outcome?
That is pretty much how I leveled this past few weeks on Endor. It takes longer without using specials but you don't kill yourselfinstead. I would recommend 80% kin comp if you can get your hands on some. Choose mobs that do not poison, cause bleedsor disease. Put the onus on the mobs to hit you if they can. And if they do the comp soaks upmost of the blow. Robas on Endor were my favorite.
Many of my friends have second accounts and made them Docs. But if you don't have that luxury then I recommend the above strategy.
Why not just get Novice Medic and heal yourself? If you watch your HAM bar (and don't get hit for 1200 pts) then you won't die.

If you look in the fourth column on the far right side of the skill tree for tailor (Tailoring I-IV) and examine the skill mods they offer keep the mouse on the clothing experimentation mod and read what comes up. At last look it said "This skill mod direclty effects how many experimentation points you receivewhen crafting combat medic medecines and medical items." I have screen shots of this as proof. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

So it now needs to say "This directly affects the number of experimentation points you get when crafting Wookiee pillows and not a lot else..."?
Can we get the name of the armor padding changed to Wookiee Pillows too?
