Further, in computer software, running test after test and examining the results IS how you determine how something is working. You can look at the code until you're blue in the face, but if you miss an = that should be an ==, it's much easier to find it through testing and drawing conclusions than it is by looking through a kajillion lines of code.

The proof is in the puddin', as they say. I think you put too much stock in what the community relations guy THINKS is going on in the game, as opposed to the reality. Did you miss his Friday Feature a ways back where he made a guide about how SEAs worked? A guide that was so far off of the reality it was laughable? I personally think the experts at playing each class are more in tune with how the game works than the employees of SOE and Lucasarts are. I even think SOE recognizes this and that's why they value class correspondents.

I see that you are wise in the ways ofapplications design, coding, deployment, troubleshootingand maintenance.. I am forced to bow to your 30+ years of superior service in the IT industry.

/sarcasm off

I have only stated that we, as the customer base of a complex computer system, cannot know the full and true effect of hte application. During the time since the last "verbal battle", I have seen numerous posts that includephrases similar to"Nobody knows for sure.. however, we think that..." For those posters, I have said nothing... simply because I agree completely.

Let's take your example.... Did a bird really crap on your head? Could it have been a squirrel?Could a small piece of "blue ice" have fallen from a high-flying airliner and smeared itselfon your head?

Suspicion is all that you have in this given example...

Suspicion is ALL thatwe have via player testing.

You may rest assured that I will ALLWAYS respond to statements that make the poster seem to know about an application than he/she possibly can.

- Account: Master TKA (cancelled)
- Account: Master Doctor (cancelled)
- Account: Smuggler (cancelled)
- Account: Master Chef (cancelled)
- Account: Master Droid Engineer (activity suspended pending developments)
Total loss of annual revenue (SOE): ~$715US to ~$900US
- Bad press: Priceless
Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.

My whole point with your whole dead horse here is this: Why do you refuse to accept the conclusions of hundreds of Droid Engineers as proof, but have no trouble accepting something said by a man who neither plays a DE nor has access to code?

There's really no need to attack me personally. I never claimed to have 30 years experience in anything. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from Michigan Tech in 1998 and my B.S. in Biology from Alma College in 2000. I'm not only familiar with all facets of application development, I also have a lot of experience with the Scientific Method - You hypothesize, experiment, then draw conclusions. If enough experiments go the same way with the same outcome, the hypothesis becomes a law, which is considered true until somethingis shown where thelaw doesn't hold up. Nothing has been shown that doesn't support the DELaw (let's call it the Law of Component Experimentation)that experimentation on components has no effect on a final droid, thereforethelaw is valid and may be taken as truth.

I have some meat with

DR=66
FL=998
PE=817
OQ=153

I know that chef's can use it because of the flavor, but is it any good because of the low OQ? If it is usable by chef's, how much CPU should I sell for on bazaar

An extremely high flavor is fairly unimportant by itself because nothing depends solely on it. Luckily this meat has a decent PE also, it may be a viable meat for additives. I would expect to pay 6-10 cpu for this meat on Sunrunner's bazaar.

Thank you so much. I believe that this is about the 4th place that I have asked about it and it's the first place to reply.

people need them for crafting quests.

Find a crafter that wants them or throw them on bizaar

I have tried both of those idea numberous times, including standing in the middle of the village shouting if anyone wanted them I was GIVING them away. I ended up deleting them because I did not have room to store them.

Try throwing them in a backpack and storing them, then posting on your respective trade forum for who wants them.

Of course it makes it easier if you know someone who has a vendor you can just throw them on.

ok so in this link below

This is the link
It has a listing of resources used for weaponsmithing that you can reference to. So my question is from this excerpt:

Steel, Duranium: (CD[306-410] SR[735-815])
Steel, Neutronium: (CD[241-345] OQ[1-1000])
Steel, Rhodium: (CD[1-85] SR[500-565])

you see the highlighted resources say between such and such a number. I though all resources go up to 1000 fot stats. If this is not the case then should I expect to never see beter then those posted? or is this just what the poster has for his current best resources. my big thing is

Copper, Desh: (UT[300-372])

I want to be able to make some really good vibro type weapons...am I too never find anything better for UT then what is posted above?

Many resources have stats that are capped, Desh Copper being a perfect example.
This fact causes many resource spawns to be over looked simply becuase the person
harvesting it is un-aware of the cap and thinks it is substandard just because a certain
attibute is under 900.

You'll save yourself a lot of time if you use Jenner and Foomans Weaponsmith tool that is found
on www.swgcraft.com

It will show you all the current resources available and show what percentage they are to the caps
It will also compare the available resources to what you already have in stock so you'll always know if
something better has spawned.

Good Luck!
