If you could get the devs to lower the FP cost for the schematics AS's wouldn't charge 1.5 million per suit.
It cost me 510,000 credits per suit for schematic cost for imperial armor. Do you think I would charge less than that for armor then?
Is that 510,000cr a one time fee per type of suit, or do you have to pay that EACH suit you MAKE? The four million the other guy complained about was a one time fee right? Ok, so sell three suits and it's paid for, can't use that as an excuse anymore.![]()
As for the ranger prices, don't pay it. DOn't make armor till the prices come down. Have a ranger in your guild gather for you, create an alt character, find a decent ranger who's not stupidly greedy. I dunno, I really don't think AS's are trying hard enough to control the prices. There's more they can do to control prices, buy when they make 9 million a night, why try?
Difference between resists in a faction armor vs. a standard armor: None. The same cores for padded are used for stormtrooper and there is no difference in the final combine.
Difference between faction armor vs standard armor in looks: HUGE. People dont buy faction armor for the resists. They buy it to show off their factional pride, to look kewl, and to stand out. If they get good resists from a well balanced layered suit its a bonus to them.
If you're not willing to lay down 1.5 million for a battle class factional suit then you're more than welcome to buy a set of bone armor or padded with the same resists for a fraction of the price or get some clone relic armor and look like a wannabe next to the person in his/her full factional suit.
Face it. A person walking by in full imperial "Shock" or "Scout" armor turns heads and stands out as does a raiding party in matching factional. A person in bone doesn't.
I can't keep in stock, all unlayered, Capped.
But my guild provides strong support for organics, and I handle inorganics myself.

I can't keep anything in stock (both faction and non), and I am turning down orders for Imperial faction orders every day. My prices are 600k for unlayered capped nonfaction and 1.5m for faction armor with the same stats. I put up 75 suits of non faction armor on Saturday, and I am down to less than 10 suits this morning.
Selling rebel faction armor for 1 million a suit. Demand for assualt is starting to slow, but battle armor is still in high demand. Rebel recon armor sells a bit slower
As a consumer I would like to see the faction cost reduced on the schematics, but as an AS that would only increase the demand ![]()
Dont do layered armor. The cost and time to make is not worth the tiny increase to protection.
I will be pricing my imperial faction at 800-850k (unlayered)
