nah, just discuss things as/where they arise. it is just a game.
THE point of this....is that rangers are supposed to get terrain bonuses and we don't when we carry a weapon...we are just like eveyrone else and that stinks. We should be able to take those hills and especially FLAT land at better than normal speed not LESS than normal speed carrying a weapon..any weapon. We certainly pay for that privelege.

Then why don't we just have one big forum to discuss everything?

Ok, Im a little grumpy about this, and with just cause. I am a master Rifleman, and 1/3/1/4 Smuggler, so as you can tell, I wear recon armor. Now, I have a stat capped piece of UBESE armor, which can be seen in this picture: Helmet Now, as you can see in the picture, it is a very nice helmet, so I am obviously going to wear it, but you can also see I have hinderances with it. HMM??? With my professions I should have the amount of mitigration as follows: Accuracy: 10%+10%+30%+40% Movement: 10%+10%+20% Rate of Fire: 30%+30%+40%+60% Now, I dont believe that makes sense. From my understanding, the entire point of mitigration is to counter-act the hinderance of armor. Sooooooo, what is the point of mitigration if it does not do that????? So I filled a ticket. A CSR replied, and here is the conversation: CSR Agrees
Here I am, taking it to the forums, I hope that someone can explain why mitigration does nothing when it is supposed to do something. Or better yet, devs, you could fix it. Thanks for your time everyone.
C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxies. SWGExpPack_MG_UK_v4 that file is the current manual

you see, the problem here, as is often the case, is that THERE IS NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR THIS GAME. most of what we know about how the game actually functions is due to the almost heroic efforts of some players to document functional parameters. even then, we are often uncertain as to whether systems are functioning "as intended."
players should not have to write their own manual. this game was totally redone in april of this year, and we deserve an up-to-date set of instructions and information as to how the systems we use in-game are intended to function.
no update or patch is finished until the documentation for the game is updated to reflect a change. i hope you will finish the curb and rotw before you add another expansion.

The first warning light that something was wrong... Should have been when you actually got a response from a CSR. THe second and Biggest warning light should have been the CSR agreeing with you... CSR's do not agree with anyone there is only one canned response on their list.... "Sorry, we are unable to do anything to help you with ............" <--- Fill in the blank....

Not a Bug.
Mitigations do not stack, the highest one you have is the one used to calculate Hindrances.
The system was left open ended enough so that if players choose to alter the armor too much they could, but it would cost them Hindrances. It forces people to think if that extra few % of protection is worth moving a bit slower.
Yeah, cool. Thanks for taking away my armor experimentation Chapstick so it could be "open ended" by shifting it all to the combat master box.
