Thread: What do people think of this change which went to Test today:
I don't really give a damn about thier database problems, this is an mporg, and people in mporgs acumulate stuff. If their database can't handle it then the game is doomed and we all might as well quit now.
I havn't been reduced to using my vendor for storage yet, but it's coming soon, and I understand perfectly well why people do it. THERE'S NOT ENOUGH STORAGE IN GAME FOR A CRAFTER! man, the resources we need, the components we need, the loot items we aquire, the odds and ends we want to store, there simply isn't enough storage.
If they cared about their players instead of nerfing the vendors like this they could instead make resources stack up to a million (or more?) units in a stack instead of 100k. Let crates hold up to 1000 units. These two changes right here would have a huge impact on the number of items I have.
It's a bad idea....god I hope they don't go live with it (but if their database people are complaining it probably will)...
If it does, I'm with PreLoaded - A lot less Arm pieces are going to get made.
BTW - if it does go live, what's the impact to the bags I already have on my vendors????
What about sliced containers? They sometimes have multiple items in them...how do we trade them back?

Stuff disappears from vendors in backpacks and they can not replace nor tell what contents was in it.
It's a bug thay can not fix.. so to avoid the situation, they are "nerfing" it.
I knew this was comming. They need to do a whole container wipe just like back in beta and can't since the game is live, that's the issue here.

I'm going to withhold my opinion for the moment to avoid poisoning the well.
Commodities Market/Vendors: Fix to no longer allow people to sell bags that are not empty on vendors.
Commodities Market/Vendors: Added error messages for attempting to sell items in trade windows, non-empty bags, and un-tradeable items like goggles and light sabres.
Never sold anything in bag so it doesn't really affect me..
I am used to people buying 7 helmets 1 chest 2 boots, 3 right bracer , 1 right biceps and so on and I have adapted to it...
The more freedom you offer customers, the more they like it =)
This is lame! I agree with whoever suggested to add a examine option to vendors and the market. What do they want us to do, fill our houses with a dozen vendors? I feel bad for the dude who said he makes 100+ suits in a run. Gee, I only make 5-10 suits a day.
This warrents a thorough "BAH!" from me. "No sir, I didn't like it.", Horse from Ren & Stimpy.
GRRRR! This is total BS. I only do special orders. I put the orders in backpacks with costumes name. I sell the backpacks for special prices. Now what am I suppost to do? Name the armor " Adv. 80/63 Composite chest-For bob only-" and put it on my vender to 5k and hope to hell he gets to it before someone else sees it. Or maybe I can start giving guild mates admin to my house to pick up orders when I’m off line. Maybe I won’t get robbed again.

What worries me about this change is customorders, it is a rather small chance a guy will be able to pick up his whole suit if I add it to my vendor in pieces, so bags or a substitute for bags is needed. With this change I can see even fewer smiths take customorders!
