Great idea.

Novice craftable - all colors. Maybe even additional colors. I see no reason to not be able to slap whatever color you want in there. Great way for Novices to make some cash.

Anyone can use it. - I've worked with a couple of people on this at the crafting stage. It's a pain. Being able to use a piece of composite for color comparison helped, but the palette was different.
