Yup, it doesn't matter anymore.

1 account cancelled. Still paying for a game I can't play anymore, until my sub runs out. Why can't play? NGE simply does not support the needs for disabled players on various levels.

I too will throw my 2cents in

Since the CU and armor change, armor padding is the same as say synthetic cloth

Stats no longer matter..it is a basic componant now.

Eh I kidna prefer it statless now. Before CU Wook armor was such a PAIN in the ass. Standard layers. Hard to get high quality named resources for the segmetns. Ditto for the final assembly. And THEN you had to try to find some high resist low HAM padding. And at least on Bria. THere werent many 12pt tailors out there that cranked out really good armor padding. And what few did. Charged an arm and a leg for. (Not that I can blame them. Demand must have been damn high and they had to have all the same really high end resources we did).

It also made wookiee armor the most expensive crafted armor shy of the 'epic' armor types. (RIS, Mando)

Ironically now wookiee armor is some of the cheapest to make. And still has really high condition on some of the parts. It still has a few named resources but now with the cores. You dont need to stockpile a billion various resources. Unfortunately of course it ment i got left holding 2 million+ units of the best wood to ahve ever spawned for wookiee armor on bria pre-cu. Which... isnt even used post CU.

In that case, I'm glad that I never did get around to throwing those quite expensive hides making a crate

... and quite sad that I think I recycled the 15K of crap wooly hide I had set aside before I realized it looked like it required stats

Can somebody please tell me if it matters what the quality of hide is you use when making armor padding?

From everything I've heard, the quality of the Armor Padding makes no difference at this time. I've never made any myself though...

I have made armor padding for my AS. I havent noticed any difference in the final product on any of my Wookie Armor based on what quality materials were used in the making of the padding. Hope that helps!
