I have seen Armor vendors selling the suits in backpacks labeled with the stats. Of course these are from well established ASes who have been in game for a long time.

Can you hand craft the other colors and get that color correctly? If so, it sounds like a business opportunity "Buy whats in the vendor for 3mil but for 3.5mil I will hand craft the color you want.

Overall, striking does nothing. They have your money and striking doesn't hit the devs/SOE in the pocketbook so they don't care. However I will say they seem to be releasing patches faster than they have pre-CU so lets hope this all gets patched soon.

I'm also frustrated with all the problems and bugs that are currently out there, but I also agree that this is not the way to do it. Nobody supports it and this thread on our front page is an embarrassment to our maturity. Lets quiet bumping it and carry on our converstaions elsewhere.

I know, I know, me saying that gave it a bump! But it was already at the top!

Striking is not the answer, at least in my opinion. Very rash. Lets wait it out, maybe devs will reward all the nerfing with a crate of free resourses(yeah rite, but would be nice)...or better yet I'll be replced by a junk dealing NPC armor vendor. I hope SOE isn't foolish and arrogant enough to do this.

Let us remain calm and not revisit Pre CU antics.

U know I just make deafult color armor, sells just fine. I sell up to 10 suits of default color armor everyday. Color doesn't define an Armorsmith the stats do.

However, a quick patch to at least solve one of the various problemsis necessary, even a patch at a time to show Armorsmiths that ur heads aren't in ur ARSES!

was that comment really necesary? I still read the forums ya know. and really such a small population of players read the forums, organizing a strike here would accomplish nothing, you'd maybe get 1 or 2 smiths per server striking, and those who don't would just get more money while you do nothing.

Am I missing something here.

Did they fix Layer Crafting and just not tell anyone? Or do none of you use layers?

Perhaps thats just me. I agree that the Color/vendor stats definately need to be fixed, but then again, I sell full sets, and I also do 90% custom orders, so not being able to experiment on the layers has screwed me over pretty good.

What I reccomend is that everyone close up shop, inform your customers that you cannot craft armor due to a current bug.

If they don't fix the issue soon, the prices of armor will skyrocket, and the only way to get specific colors will be through a custom order. Which usually takes a few days to get done, so the rest of the server will be unhappy as well.

I must say that the past few days have been the worst for me, I've cancelled 3 accounts, cause I'm tired of the Bugs that are in this game, and it does not hold my interest.

For those who think that going on strike is childish I'd like to bring up a very successful strike. Wookies can't wear armor. - Solution, gather over 200 wookies in a starport shouting "We want Armor"

Look at us Armorsmiths just crafting it away.

I would say this hasn't been deleted since enough people have said not to stirke. Which will only accoplmish one thing. Giving Business to even less AS. If you are going to get thatmad about the bugs that happen(Sorry SOE devs aren't perfect. I am glad you are) then quit the profession. Should they test the publishs more than they do? Most likely. But when people whine they want new contet they give it to you. Just sit still and wait for it to get fixed.

But if any of you want to strike, go right ahead and let me get more business. I enjoy the game(yes people iti s just a game) and bugs are annoying but they get fixed. Thanks and don't forget to tip your waitress!

PSSSSSSSSSSST ... layers aren't broken, just the stat display on the schematic ...

See that experimental percentage on the left? Yeah, the number thing that keeps going up. On a non-advanced layer, that's about the +bonus on your layer. So, if you make an energy layer with 85% experimental percentage, you'll have an energy layer with +85 (or +84) energy bonus and -85 kinetic penalty. For advanced layers, just divide that number by two.

I like the strike idea...... SOE still doesn't get it.

I see all of these so-called media websites and magazines putting in a plug for the combat nerf. They only give good reviews because SOE advertises with them. What a scam!

The truth is that the nerf will take 6 months to a year to fix. SOE won't say it, but they know it is true. Anything we can do to help folks understand what a pathetic piece of garbage the combat nerf is, should be done. It increase pressure on SOE to stop taking vacations all the time and get back to work.

P.S. add the health stat bug that was recently introduced to the list.

I dont really think striking will get anywhere. It's been tried in the past. And the last strike I recall. Simply had a bunch of SBDs and the like dropped on them. Which quickly settled matters as many of the strikers were promptly killed.

This was also done when people protested the release of CU... it lagged the livign hell out of the servers. and on Bria at least. Theed especially where most of the strikers seemed to have been. But CU is still here.

Also people arguing that they cant sell armor because they cant currently craft factional armor is bunk. You can make regular armor just as well with the same materials. Have these bugs hurt my buisiness? Yes. Quite abit infact. I'm one of those that caters mostly to the factional armor area. But I make other armor types on the side. Do I make as much money off non factional? No. Not really. But I also dont have to go through the trouble of buying FP etc.

So for now i'm just going to go back to making purely non factional armor. And putting up notices near my vendors and telling my customers etc. That if they want factional armor. That due to those same bugs. I cannot supply them with the armor. Even though I can still actually craft the armor in question.

SOE has quite clearly shown that they will just keep doing what they want regardless of what people may feel. I'm wondering though if anyone has ever tried writing an actual hard copy letter and sending it off to SOE's HQ. Or even Lucas Arts for that matter. I know people have E-mailed them. But I've found, having worked in the past for 'souless corporations'. Who didnt care a whit about their customers to boot. Tended to actually react when they got a hard copy letter.

Unless it is unite to cancel (not going to happen cause we actually do like to play), then not much going to get any changes for the better coming any time soon

The ruined faction armors has been messed up now for about 11 days or so and still nothing. Guess the candle patch is taking priority or something?
