Sorry it took so long for me to check and get back. I did verify that a wookiee can wear a belt and a backpack at the same time. Since EVERYBODY wears a backpack especially crafters... it would make sense for the Armorsmith Assembly/Exp Mod Item to be something that could be equipped with a backpack. So my vote would be for a belt

All races can wear aprons. (At least the chef ones with alien text on them - I've never seen a wookiee wearing the doctor/architect apron.)

Aprons can be worn with a backpack.

imho a crafting item which requires you to remove your backpack should be +5 experimentation, not +3 - just for the anoyance factor.

Would you care to test out a 400 year old sword to see if it's decayed to condition 0? All the prior testers have no comment. Perhaps a gun which was used in WW I and still fires with high accuracy upto 1km?

If that doesn't get you, then start reading current military specifications for combat equipment.
