Thread: The future of AS and all crafting professions (repost)

my question is, if everyone has to group all the time, and the payouts are so low, how will anyone be able to afford the high priced resources? Not to mention who will want to group with a low level character when they bring down the overall rating of the group? They will probably expect payment in grouping? Or payment in the form of resources? Now putting all this into consideration, who will be able to afford anything, the cost of things will have to go way down or the payment for group missions will have to go sky high. How will a newbie player make credits?

Also, I can't believe a vet player has to take this CU with the thought "everyone will be on the same footing," I myself will be damned if after playing this game for 1 year and a half will be on the same footing as someone who just started. I've worked hard on my character, enjoyed the time I've spent and to think it's all been a waste of time come this May, really pisses me off.

Now this post will probably be deleted like half my other posts but I needed to vent.

Unless space gets nerfed, it will be the #1 money maker for players. Maybe thats why they are giving it for free with the ROTW?

Also, SOE's gamble to get new players is gonna bite them. These new players that will try crafting are going to be severely frustrated when they learn they are dependent on other crafting professions and find out how difficult it is to find the subcomponents w/o multiple accounts.

Not really seeing how space is all that lucrative. All you do is fly around kessel or whatever killing hard mobs and looting crap nobody really wants. How would space be the #1 money maker?

That looted crap no one wants you could sell to the chassis dealer for 1k credits per level of the item.

In the immortal words of Metallica... Sad but true...

hehe my AS name is Larz-Ulrich haha

I am not happy about this, I guess the only thing to do is use the cancel button on my subscription.

You know the sad thing is, most that were complaining about the unbalance of combat in the game, have gone on to play the other MMORPG. You really think their going to come back after seeing all this? The ones that stayed were pretty much happy with game other than a few tweaks here and there that needed to be fixed.

The Devs are tearing the whole house down instead of fixing the sink, which is sad.

I say, make two sets of servers, those for the CU and other for the orginal build. I have 3 accounts, which will be one after this and maybe none. I play at different times than most. Moslty in the mornings, you think anyone is going to be around to group with me? NOT! So that pretty much kills combat and crafting for me.

I can say one thing, least they did it towards summer, I will be enjoying the outdoors a little more this year. haha

There is my problem too. I play at weird times and rarely see my friends on. If I do, it's usually for a brief time only. I'm not looking forward to having to group at all and they are tearing my favorite profession apart also, AS... what to do....

That's my problem as well...but it doesn't seem to be a problem that's getting addressed, which is sad. What to do, indeed.

Now that it's OK to support the removal of classes in your signature, I firmly support the removal of all the benny hill glowstick fanclub from the game; it was a lot more fun before they came.
