so if i fill my marksman tree i can respec it to pikeman or fencer or whatever??? Can basic profs be respeced to Elite ones?

No the respec interface keeps track of Novice, Normal and Elite points (Jedi Points too it seems) and you can respend them on other combat type skill boxes...

this is complicated


during respec you will have 4 groups of skill points


Novice - these are for novice boxes ONLY, you cannot go out and get all the novices and then trade them in for elite profs


Standard - these are the points spent on all non-elite profs


Elite - take a guess what these are


Jedi - see line above


So if you have a master novice profession you CANNOT respec it to an elite one. But yes you could drop rifleman and take up pikeman by dropping your marksman skills and rifleman skills and trading them for brawler and pikeman.
