UGH armor is definately a guy thing. Next time, let a female design the armor or better yet...let us females have our own armor that is not so MALE and BULKY and rear ugly (but just what fashion challenged guys would love).
We females want slendor, form fitting, pretty colored armor. AND helms that have NO graphic and don't make us look like big bugs or bucket heads.
Agreed. There are enough ladies, and guys posing as ladies, playing the game. I think it warrants giving the female toons something a little more...well, feminine.
If you can't give us that, at least do a better job scaling down the helmets to fit the smaller player avatars when equipped. My female toon for instance is pretty close to the shortest and thinnest avatar build. In stormy armor it looks like she has a helmet 2x the size of the body armor, which fits fine.
As Glory said above, BUCKET HEAD. Bah.

I don't know if armor should ever be "pretty" and feminine. But it should definitely look good on a female character and have a certain style about it. Ie. the Tie fighter suit looks great on a female character, and yet doesn't look like it was designed just for prettyness's sake. It remains tactical and stylish at the same time. The Rebel recon actually fits well, even if certain parts of the armor's design could be improved. And I liked the Ubese and Mabari on femalesbut then again, the Star Wars characters on which they were based were actually female. Padded is pretty snazzy too. They don't even have to be completely form fitting to look right on a female character.
But the composite, and most of the new Rebel armors. *shudder*.

I think it wouldn't be so bad if the faces weren't covered up, but instead go with a standard-style helmet with a visor or goggles.I remember one of the devs saying they made the helmets cover up the entire face on purpose because it requires less programming to get it to work with every species, but I would rather corners not be cut here and have the artists take all the time they need to get these armor suits looking right.
Totally agree...sadly judging by how badly I got flamed when I expressed that back when they first showed us the art for the rebel armor those of us that don't think it looks right are in the minority.
Again I ask the question.... can the rebel armor be colorized in any way?

Why's she wearing sandles? They planning a battle at the beach?
Oh and girls, I think bulky armor looks great on you all. I see so many girls in skimpy outfits, that when I see a woman in full composite I think to myself "Wow, now that's a woman." I can always recognize a woman even if she wearing a full suit of composite.
