Thread: Focus Thread: Factory Ate My Sock Bug?
I had finnaly gathered enough resources to create my first complete RIS suit and started working. When creating the first segment I got an amazing and tought i'd make a schematic so all other segments was just as good.
I traveled to my factory and put all my GDK, Woolamander etc into the factory UNSTICKED. I started the factory and after a short while I got a message that it was done. When I went to the output hopper only ONE segment was created. AND to my horror all GDK, Gurk, Woolamander was gone. The factory treated the unsticked item as ONE item and used em all to create the segment.
Since I was really exited about my first Complete set I was furiuos and sent in a ticket. And I got the following answer:
"Sorry can't help you, working as intended" /grin
So basically I lost 8 GDK, 8 Woolamander bone fragments and 8 Gurk King hides.

I wasted 200 brackaset scales before I noticed this. I have all the segments but none of them have the health bonus.

My experience to date is only that when I access the output hopper / stop a run, do I loose resorces.
To date is has only been enough to make one item, and I usually just have to load enough again to make the last item.
I am a MAS post CU, so I only make segs and cores in factories and I have not had any issues other than the one listed above.
Maybe this is due to stacked items being placed into the input hopper stacked, instead of unstacked.
Sounds bad what ever it is and another game breaker.
I hope somebody is still paying attention to this thread.
I just had this problem hit me.
I made a schematic for 1000 layers. I placed exactly the right amount of each resource for 1000 layers (I am am certain because I used my "uber" resources for these and I know what I use of these to the unit.
The factory stopped at 832 layers. Upon checking the ingredient hopper, 2 of my resources were down to like 6 and 2 units (polymer and chromite ore). Again, I am 100%positive that I placed the right number of resources to make 1000 layers.
The polymer that I was shorted was from the best spawn my server has ever seen, this stuff goes for like between 20 to 1 and 50 to 1 if you can find any. The chromite was extremely rare as well (I paid 10:1 and that was because a buddy of mine arranged the deal).
Everytime I try to get excited about making armor again, some bug like this rears its ugly head.
I cant keep doing this.

Yep, I think I am done. Fix it, dont fix it, I dont really care at this point.
I think this bug is still alive and well. I've had this occur on numberous occassions, the latest time being tonight.
Scenario:
Working on set of layered assault armor with health enhancers. Had to do 3 runs of segments. Put all of the resources for all 3 (total of 34 segments, last ones by hand) in the factory while I was making the layers in the one next to it. When the layers for one of the runs was done, would take them out and do a run of segments.
When I got to the last run of segments, went to check on the resources. Was supposed to have enough for 10 segments, but only had enough for 8. I know I did the math right, used the calculator, checked over it, everything. Also coincidence I'd done 2 runs before that one and was missing the resources for 2.
