the problem with starting completely fresh is you lose the thousands of resources in the past. granted there are a ton missing but not nearly all of them.

I have 200mb of free space with ISP comes with PHP and Mysql, but the domain name cannot change, may be beter to look for space where a domain name can be used swgarmorsmith etc

I'm failry handy with graphics/art. Also do website work on the site. Mostly phpnuke because it's simple to use but if you'd rather go with basic HTML and some scripting that's right up my alley also.

There's also that script for pulling SWGCraft.com info into the site... website chatroom... tutorial modules... it all sounds good.

I've actually started on something like this for Rangers and those that need resources. You can find a link to it in my signature. It isn't functional just yet because I've been a bit busy with grinding AS lately so I haven't looked into the registration confirmation bug It hasyet

have a look at powweb.com, very nice price for a decent package. I use them for a couple sites. Not as php friendly as some others but it works fine for me.

Ehh I'm not a big fan of PHP-Nuke so yea I'd prefer to do everything from scratch.

Yea basically I just want to put every question that is asked on there and most schematic info and things like that.
Only for AS though, don't really wanna cover any other professions or resource data, or things like that, let swgcraft.com have fun with that.

Classwork for the week is done, so here's what I can toss into the hat:

I'm a creative writing Major, among other things, so writing, editing and publishing are my strong points. I can write up most documents or proofread stuff you send me. I'm not so hot with code or graphics, although I can read and edit Java well enough.

Yea ok, we need to get a group of people together and get this thing started . The sooner the better is how I see it.

For the server part, I can handle most of that for the development of the site, although when we release it, it probably won't be able to handle the traffic, so we'll need a good server with plenty bandwidth.
Mainly what we are really needing is some graphics people, and probably people to add content.
