I love my ST armor, but as I'm no longer a member of the Empire, I will have to get myself a set of BH armor or even Mandalorian armor

How does wearing armor make you take more damage? And does the light armor rating on armor help at all against the lightsaber?

i wear some high resist padded armor in certain places and always have a helmet at my side. Having low encomberance high resist padded helps me with those last protection squad members that are with the jedi. Otherwise i have a lot of defence vs stuff in BE clothes. Its the best protection vs jedi. My character looks quite unique with a set of robes and vests. I would team up with a tailor and tell them what your looking for and let them dream up ideas.

I have recently returned to SWG after a 6 month (ish) absence and understand that the CU has changed armour requirements.
My template is master Sword and TKM and I have 15 sets of pre-CU composite armour that I cannot apparently wear.
I have been led to beleive that I can convert it. Does anyone know if this is true, how it is done, and (given my template) what I should convert it too?
Many thanks from a veteran who suddenly feels like a noob

Right click on each bit of armor and select (refit or respec... something like that), when prompted you must select 'battle armor' as this is the armor type that a master swordsman can use.
The CU converted armor will not be as good as new crafted armor, but it's a good start....
BUT....
All that said as you have TKM you have the option of no armor at all... TKM gives you innate armor, that is free and never decays... Innate armor is good for PvE but has big downsides in PvP where is can be 'armor broken'....
Check the TKM forum sticky for more info on innate armor - it may be all you need...
