Also I was wondering about Stun layers, as I stated my success in Beta so far has been nominal so I haven't had a chance to look, But do we even have stun damage anymore? I made a nice run of stun segments and I haven't worked them into armor yet. Should I even bother?

stun no longer exists and the conversion is based only on the base.

I refitted my 80% Kinetic Base 67 Comp armor for my Smuggler Alt to Tantel (Full suit) and the stats shifted to those listed in the post above for Bria ~ 4000 or so, I then sliced it up to ~5200-5500 on base resists. The refit note said that I could only refit each armor piece once. I am wondering, if this is the way it will work, we should advertise this, push our Comp now and then players will at least have their first set of Post CU armor better than the stats listed above. I didn't have much time so I only refitted to tantel. I wonder how the refit works to and from other armors.

sigh, it is all based on the base%. the only mass produceable high base is composite. why would you want to refit ubese with a 12-16% base to armor that has 1500-2000 resist? there is no point in refiting anything but composite.

Guys, I keep hearing that composite can be turned into other armor types post-conversion, yet I haven't heard anyone say how to do this. Clue me in?

The conversion percentages are still up in the air - I've seen differing reports from the newer test servers, but no definite confirmation. The refit option will work the same, I'm pretty sure (it's a radial menu option on the armour item).

Nope. I tried to convert my ST armor to Scout Trooper Armor but there was no option.

So let me get this straight, Post Cu I will have the chance to do two things....


1) Trun my comp Armor into any other type of non quest based and non fation armor

2) Reslice all my armor


Is this about the shirt end of it all? If so what layers would be best to run, kinetic, blast, electricity?

depends on which layers you can get the highest base exp on as far as i can see... i get my kin layers to 94% so im sticking with kin comp.
