Is it just me, or does anyone else think that 'continuity' in this game went out the window already?

Nope. The armor has been approved by both LucasArts and LucasFilm, who decide what is part of the 'continuity'.

Oh yeah I understand that part, and it's fine by me. I actually meant in general, when the 'continuity' argument is used by everyone for everything, when it comes to what should be in the game or not, and the way things should be / shouldn't be. In and by itself, I just think it's a weak argument. But that's just me.

I am wookie armorsmith, have been making armor since day 1. I have learned that price gouginghurts you in the long run. So depending on resources, I don't see it costing any more than composite.

Price gouging only hurts when you have competition. Knowing the limited number of "wookiee" AS, this "fear" is unfounded and you'll be able to rape wookiee at will.
